The most annoying part is when it’s chicken thighs, a juicy delicious flavor, but it’s dark meat so it has a pinkish hue to it and everyone like ohhh it’s raw!! No bitch it’s cooked perfectly, sorry it’s black burned and dry in the middle

This is why you get a thermometer, especially for bbq meat cause it sometimes has a smoke ring on it. Theyre so cheap and last years, also saves your tastebuds

If you grill to internal temp 155-160 then let the meat rest for 5-10 mins works better for me. If you grill to 165 then the meat rests it’s more like 175 ends up being to dry.

This is perfect you cooked in a high heat quick manner. My experience when you do a slow low indirect method the chicken tents to be very dense and dry

If you cook until 160, the chicken will overcook by the time it rests. Pull it at 150-152, and it will continue to cook during the rest

I've tried that with thermometer inside chicken and it didn't work. The chicken quickly went to 140 degrees. Salmonella is not worth it.

The general concept of pulling the meat 5 to 10 (bigger hunks of meat will have more carryover heat) before final temp is always the way to go, especially for white meats(chicken, pork, etc...).
@IntelTV
@IntelTV 9 ай бұрын
@METRIKxv1 this goes against the laws of physics entirely... get a solid wireless thermometer that takes temperature throughout the rod. It usually rises 5-10 degrees once taken off heat. Salmonella is killed at 148° when exposed for under a minute of that heat or higher

you leave every piece of meat to rest, unless you want all the juice on the plate and not in the freaking meat. it takes 20 minutes or more for it to acutally get noticibly colder if you let it rest on a warm place

remove all the jucky things (absolutely not necessary) Put them on your grill and flip them 4 times for no reason. then proceed to overcook your chicken by about 12-14 degrees. let it rest (wow, that's acutally correct!) and proceed to press it so hard that even the low amounts of juice that is left leaves the chicken. enjoy your piece of leather "girlscangrill btw, cuz nobody tells them the truth and they think they are acutally good"
