This is a Polar Lights model kit, the Jupiter 2, from Lost in Space TV series, in 1/48 scale, assembled with fully detailed and lighted interior/exterior, customized by BLM (Blinking Lights Models).

Interior detail is incredible. I’m building a polar lights J2. I opened up the bottom window too. I cut a pair of safety goggles for the windshield. The contour is perfect.

My fav thing about the J2 is how the insde was so much bigger than the outside. Outside it looked like one great room n one floor but inside almost as big as the Star Trek enterprise. But regardless, you've got a beautiful model there.

I was already impressed but then I the model included the toilet ! Damn that was brilliant ! I wonder how big the J2 would have had to be in real life to include everything the Robinsons needed. It would have to have been huge. Nice job mate. :o)

Hi! Thanks for your kind words. In fact, there was a real toilet in the 2nd floor of the filming set, but it never shows.I base my build on the Fox plans of the Jupiter 2. As always, regarding those Irwin Allen props, filming sets never fit the miniatures. :) Kind regards.

Hi Kenneth! Thank you! In fact, the filming full mock up had a toilet never shown, as well as several other ship features. For example, the ladder passageways between decks had sliding doors! Kind regards!

Space pod & chariot? No way. Even the elaborate devices they set up in some episodes, where would they stow that? Nice job on what you got. Your lighting is awesome.

It IS a headache to fix that gap, I had to file some of the bulkheads down on the lower deck. Even though I followed directions Precisely!

Did you build the navigation console from scratch? The Polar Lights version seems a bit small.

I built the Chariot and Space Pod with full lighting. The videos are published in my channel. As for the lower deck, well, it is in my plans.
