Chai, you should have downloaded his photo, screenshot the social media pics and other evidence. Print them out and keep them. Regular color printer will print allt his. Always keep evidence of who you are in a relationship with, in case of anything. Not any quarell, but just normal security measures. You must have his phone number, email or something. Keep information on their relatives, some friends, some witnesses; whatever you can. Make sure you have the man do the needful, you cannot let someone take you for granted as a lady. So sad.

Bottom line: if any man loves you , tell him to do the needful , meet his people. Don’t be carried away with love

I don't think Justice Court should air cases where the defendants refuse to show up. I feel they watch the program and see that its ok for them to not show up because there's been no penalties for no show. There should be penalties enforced on people who refuse to respect the court by not showing up.

I think the law of tenant and landlord in Lagos need to be re- visit. Some landlords are very greedy and dubious. U can imagine you pay a huge amount for agent and agreement and oneday the landlord will wake up and give you quick notice simply because they want to collect another agent and agreement from somebody else. If you people want to renovate house, renovate it and not evicting tenant, highest you increase the house rent. Where did you want this poor man to get money to pack out. He did not have the money to get another apartment. Somebody that could not pay a full year, where did you want him get money to get new apartment.

The govt should also look at the area and duration of when a landlord can give tenants quit notice. To rent a new apartment, pay the commission and agreement, some cases you pay for damages too, money for transporting your properties, paintings fixing electrical faults and some other expenses, then after the first year or second year, one is been given a quit notice, the you start all over to pay all that money, it's very unfair, some house owners do take undue advantage of that, they want to get that agreement and damages ...
