I am so thrilled to watch Judge Funmi melt her version of justice.👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 I am so proud to be a Nigerian at the moment. I love the use of the sign language lady and the gentleman who does the interpreting. Furthermore, the audience are of good standing and standards. However, I'm afraid this new female interpreter is not up to the job. Her job is to interpret not query the plaintive. In addition, she reacts by laughing, sniggering and summarising what is being said. To the point where the Judge Funmi takes over reminding the interpreter that she understands Yoruba. That is seriously annoying 🙄 😒 I am so grateful when the defendant, the husband, corrects the interpreter. I mean, come on girl !! 😤😤

The translater is not orofesional. When people are fighting for their life, translate and do not laugh Also the caption on the TV does t match what she is saying. She left the part out when speaking to the judge that he did not go to ask the elders. She said stated the conjugal right.

An interpreter should be court appointed for obvious reasons. You can’t just pick up a random person off the street just because they can speak a language. Also it’s obvious she was embarrassed to talk about sex. Her initial chuckle was because she was embarrassed. A court appointed interpreter is a professional. They do it for a living.

He cares only about sex. He forgets that he is getting old. The new wife has his heart for now. A lot of women are facing the same problem Your Honour. That woman is suffering. As for the biting, I think it is in self defense. A bite can ease the hold that a stronger person has on the weak. He is lost and so are many.
