You r doing huge benefit/ favour to this society and country. You literally r a huge asset and blessing for this nation. I literally don't have words to articulate the charity you r donating to this nation through your work. You r literally doing the work, neeki kar darya ma daal, and not for money. A little bit suggestion here, You r doing almost most of the time podcasts on political issues, history, issues related to our society, and others, all these topics require a deep dive into research work and knowledge about contemporary situation that requires a huge time. Additionally, all of these topics are very serious and dark and the negative comments you will get while narrating the reality to people might negatively affect your mental well -being. Therefore, i would suggest may be sometimes if you get a chance, do a lighter podcast, just like the one you did with ali gul pir, and other things that you like to do, that will help your mind to relax a bit, that is so necessary for everyone and especially for you. I wish you a healthy life, mentally and physically and always prosper. Always legend Sir.

Shezad, this is a brilliant & thought provoking podcast. One point 'women emancipation': That sounds cliched especially in a closed society where even a woman's dressing up, basic rights are suppressed on various alibis/pretexts be it religion, family honor, societal pressures etc. In closed societies we don't educate our girls & enforce restrictions to curtail their talent and progression. All they can end up is becoming children bearing machines, dependents on their husbands. If the women are educated and economically independent, I can bet you, men will treat them with respect and like a follow human first.

Excellent interview yaar. I have also worked with children who have been abused and families that are dealing with that here in the US in impoverished communities. It is amazing to see that even in a rich country like America, we don't do much better than countries with less resources like Pakistan. She was such an incredible leader. Shehzad bhai, I’m not oversimplifying this horrible situation but I think it starts with Jab chota bacha masti karta hai to maa kehti rai “sabr rakh, mein tere baap ko bataungi” just think of what that puts in the child’s mind with regards to gender roles! The very least is “meri maa abbu ke be ghair kuch nai bigar sakti! The other thing is when men beat their wives in front of their children !

there was this meme trend extremely viral and people even were enjoying the orignal video. the meme trend was "chumi shumi lelu koi masla to nai", when you watch the orignal video you will get to know an adult man is molesting a kid in some hostel in Sindh. in that video it was his first meeting with the kid, which means there must be more to molestation and even rape. but it was extremely devastating for me how a harassment video was a famous meme trend in Pakistan. sick!!

She's such a strong lady, I couldn't even hear these stories without flinching and she has to live with them. We need more people like her in our society. Thank you Shehzad for this Podcast! Everything was great until the end, where she blamed people for damaging things like buses, parks, and govt properties. It is also the govt's job to maintain the facilities they're providing as the tax deductions happens on regular basis and not just once like the facilities we are given. Even in first world countries, whenever there is chaos and no consequences people behave similarly and we have seen it. It's the work of law to make sure that public properties are safe and govt's job to maintain them.

The lady is quite candid on the issue of rape and violence in our society, and she has answered all the questions. Thank you and thank her for that🙏🏽 But, I have an impression by this lady’s narrative that the police in these cases of violence and rape are very efficient. What abt those crimes being committed by the police and victims and doctors being targeted by the perpetrators when they are influential persons? How the female experts/ doctors are kept safe in this jungle of lawlessness?

Love your work, Shehzad, and huge respect to Dr. Tariq. But one thing I feel the need to comment on is the discussion at the end. It's remarkable how much weight we want to place on the state when it comes to failures and refuse to acknowledge our societal failings. Dr. Tariq had to insist that the state did, in fact, provide functioning bathrooms. But 'people' (staff or visitors) keep breaking them.

What a great what a great session . Wish she would have given more gruesome example of what is going around us , 5/6 examples with details and end result as well good result or bad so it becomes emboss in our mind

Young girls must get the highest education for financial freedom if and when needed. Unfortunately women look for “rich and wealthy” man who will take care of them. Please stand up on your own feet, knees and shoulders. No man will abuse a woman if she is absolute financially independent.
