Had one of these for about 7 years now... just can't find it now lol

This is a wonderfull knife. But for EDC I prefer the CQC-10K, slimmer and lighter... The wave feature is excelent for self defense kives. And kershaw offers CQC for a very affordable price...

I have one in D2. It sits unused in a box after partially opening in my pocket a few times and a few resulting lacerations.

Would take the CS SR1 Lite any day over the Emerson Kershaw. I had one years ago because of the cool design and because I couldn't lay down $250 USD plus for a real Emerson with all the production problems. Knife turned out to be junk. Off centered, play up and down. Got rid of it , but agree I would pay more for a USA version. Peace

I have the 8cr13mov version...always thought they should have made it a liner lock for weight purposes. I think the Kershaw is better made but I tend to carry the Spyderco Resilience in the budget category. The closest USA Made version and one of my favorites is the ZT 0640 from USA Made Knives with Micarta scales. They were a good price last month, I think there being discontinued.

I think it’s a good knife . To me it’s self defense purpose so blade steel doesn’t really matter it will cut and stab meat fine

I dont know if its the way the light is reflecting, but at 03:13 you can see what appear to be tiny bits of the cutting edge chipped off, from about center down towards the riccaso. I have an old 8cr13mov which purchased when they were first released years ago to attend a class given by Scott Babbit of Libre. I carry it daily or I carry a CRKT Obake, especially to places where I cannot carry my firearm, so they dosent get much use.

Why did they have to put the damn clip so far down the handle🤦

Sold mine. Too heavy and not good ergos.
