When it comes to bad guys, the Marvel universe has no shortage of villainous evil doers with ambitions of grandeur and destruction, but one titan in particular has always stood above the rest. Famed for his numerous brutal and unrelenting quests toward omnipotence, Thanos is quite possibly one of the most dangerous and successful villains in all of fiction. His expeditions with nigh-omnipotence are SO notorious that one can scarcely even mention relics like the Infinity Stones without his name coming up. But it all leads to a few unanswered questions. Exactly how powerful can this single mad warlord become? And in those few occasions when he actually does manage to grasp the infinity, how can we stop him? There are certainly no shortage of propositions available for this particular subject, but as usual, Tyler has the most thorough dossier he could compile ready for the question. And he plans to put this question to bed once and for all.

He destroyed the stones, he didn't erase them from existance. In the movie, their energy still exists in the universe, just not the stones in their physical form. To erase them from existence would mean erasing the stones AND the energy they possess.

Alibaba and Aladdin know that no force is now capable of stopping his nigh omnipotence. They cannot outsmart him since he’s nigh omniscient. And cannot try any sort of time based attack or dimensional interference as doing so would break the natural order of the world and achieve nothing. So how do they win? They talk to the guy. They have a chat talking about their beliefs and ideals in a final attempt to convince him of why they’re right.

Actually, there’s an answer for that the reason why Ultron was able to use the stones in different “ universes” was because those were timelines same versions of one universe with their own time version of stones so the reason why Ultron was able to use the stones in different universes because they weren’t truly different universes. They were different versions of his universe.

I thought of a more lame explanation, but maybe the infinity stones give their user semi-suicidal tendencies. If you remember, the infinity stones come from a god who killed himself to birth the multiverse, so maybe that personality remained in the stones and anyone with their power has the same tendencies.

What to remember about the ultimate nullifier, however, is its usage highly depends on the person using it. Someone powerful like galactus can erase timeliness and universes with it, but if someone isn't mentally strong enough to handle it they'll just get nullified themselves. @@redjirachi1 Plot, mostly. Anyways, that's not exactly how TF works. It's weird, and break a lot of laws of reality warping and the plot in general. TF characters can't really lose a fight, unless it's funny or they find it amusing, or they come back from it or something along those lines. TF is hard to talk about, as it works weirdly. Also, Arale didn't have TF, but the DB equivalent to a lesser degree than true TF.

In the comics the gauntlet gives awareness over everything in the universe thought time and makes him faster than everybody. In the MCU it can't even show an incoming danger 5 seconds ahead. The spider sense gives more awareness of the surroundings than the gauntlet.

In the movies the stones don't give you a perfect connection to their capabilities, just unfiltered directionless power which isn't good for the user, you need a good interface that both filters and controls the connection and any capabilities you will have depend only on said interface

They didn’t mess up. They explain in the movie that time doesn’t change. You can make branches but you can’t go in the past and kill baby Thanos as a solution because when you go back to your time, things are the same, you just made a different branch. One where Thanos was killed as a baby. Which I like because that means there’s an alternative dimension where Loki might be alive🤗

Even on the second rule that was only Thanos' intention. Even if his plan would have violated rule 2, he wouldn't have known he couldn't do that before putting it on. It does violate Rule 1. But to be fair Rule 1 was actually violated when the video covered Rule 2. Is what Thanos did in destroying the stones any different really from how Captain America destroyed them while using them to fend off that universe attack? In both cases the stones were shattered and 'gone'.

Wait, you said that the gauntlet only controls the 3 dimensions (and time), and it only works in it's home universe, so all you would have to do is get a higher dimensional being like Dr. Manhattan to beat him, or somehow teleport into the 4th dimension(or 5th for good measure) and somehow take his gauntlet from there.
