Under witness protection, you have to follow set rules. Most people can't adhere to them. You have to forget family and friends and basically start from scratch. If you don't, you die. The FBI or US Marshal supplies the documents and basic location but will never know exactly where you living. These people slipped up, not the FEDS. You are at a party when you are supposed to be hiding? How many people at that party have a cellphone? Plus the party was in her home base, the place she should be hiding from. Get off the conspiracy train, please.

I'm so confused at how they can keep watching informants get killed without doing something more to protect them. Clearly, someone was informing them from the inside, keep your circle tight and protect the informants. FFS, also, why did Chrissy decide to go to a party hosted by the girlfriend of the man you're possibly putting in prison....?

This is exactly why folks don't talk to law enforcement. There were several more witnesses that were killed than spoken on in this show. And what they don't really speak about is dirty officer's will let the community know who is doing all the talking are. They always have. They use that against them after they talk. Not only that, you have the right to a FOIA request, which makes it impossible for you to remain unknown, and they can make you testify. Sad to hear of all that list their life thinking they would be protected after trying to help. All they wanted was info and didn't think much about protecting them acting surprised when they were killed. They knew better. The guy I feel no pity for because he was apart of the problem, but that 19 year old, that hurt. The day they talked to the police should've been their last day in that neighborhood, period! But they made their case no matter who lost their lives. The other thing that gets me is the one who said he killed at least 7 people, and he probably got some grand deal, sitting on an island now. Bastard!

If we think back in the 90's, this is when alot of corruption was still happening in departments. Things were never better back then, either.

@Jim Marbaz It was a RICO case. Meaning, this was an organized crime investigation. That's the exact shit witness protection was designed for. (FBI Files has similar episodes where the victims of crime were affluent whites & so were the witnesses. Guess what? As soon as there's a threat made against their white witness, he gets protection. The closer you get to being a member of the dominant paradigm, the more likely you'll be protected by the good ol' boy's club that is the FBI & local law-enforcement.)

The acting is so good, that they don't have the criminals get on their knees or in a line and instead have them in rows of two, whereby one of the cops goes in between them, starts taking their weapons, and then places them in on a table, right to the left side of a criminal; The cop then moves to another criminal all at the same time keeping his back to the criminal that has direct access to the weapons on the table.

if you are in the witness protection and your a witness to a murder case and because of the defendant right to discovery ( to get your defense ready you are told of all witnesses against you ) then don’t for any reason go back to the same neighborhood you are hiding in witness protection for because it’s not a very safe place for you !!!! when detectives go door to door asking people for information and the residents don’t talk or cooperate is because those detectives don’t live there and get to go home but those people do live therse and. even. sometimes the people that didn’t cooperate and told the investigators nothing risk being killed just for that and being seen talking even though they stayed quiet !!!! those laws were extreme against crack dealers but it didn’t stop then it only broke up more families, more kids growing up without their dad, i’m surprised they a senior gang member to fold, damme 2 eyewitness got smoked in this episode and they wonder why nobody cooperated???? they shoulda put that dude in some hotel 🏨 room with 24 hour police protection

There were multiple instances where the gangs seemed to suspiciously uncover super confidential information regarding the police investigation to the point it was way past fishy, it just pointed out to one possibility, somebody on the police force was snitching info to the gang. Maybe they had dirt on on a Police officer and were forcing him to spy for them....🤷🏻‍♀️

So sad. All the witness Christina wanted was to have a safe neighborhood for her kids. She succeeded, but sadly did not live to see it. All these killers and criminals have too many rights and they know how to manipulate the system; make it work for them. And their lawyers are just as dirty. The freedoms information act. Yes, they rights. But what about the rights of the innocent? Who protects them? Who fights for them? Don’t tell me the legal system. It is too busy protecting the criminals. The cops? Their hands are tied with red tape.
