It honestly surprises me how slick some of these animations are or how good some of the character models look. They did a great job replicating the look of the old artwork (I mean look at Leona) and speaking of Leona, a lot of the ladies are looking surprisingly good too for what I assume are a pretty budgeted number of polys and everybody is looking food in their splash art. SNK playmore failed to bring new design and new characters animation . we can see when other companies use SNK licence , the output is amazing . have a look at Geese Howard in tekken 7 , Namco did it so well , it looks like Geese from early fatal fury special brought into 3D by magic

It really is lol. But I seriously think SNK got the hang of this 3D thing. Samurai Showdown looks fucking amazing. KOF games though seems like they'll look fine with cel shading type of graphics.

If King Of Fighters was like Tekken, the characters would speak in their native languages, for example: Kyo, Benimaru, Daimon, Lori, Joe, Athena, Kensou, Ryo, Yuri, Mai and the others would speak Japanese. Terry, Andy, Ralf, Clark, Heavy D, Lucky, Brian, Rock, Geese, Billy and the other characters would speak English. Kim, Chang, Choi, and several other characters would speak Korean. Tong Fu Rue, Shun'ei, Meitenkun, and several other characters would speak chinese. Ramon, Angel and several others would speak Spanish. Nelson, Zarina and Bandeiras would speak Portuguese. King, Vice and several others would speak French. Rugal, Mature and several others would speak German. Antonov would speak Russian. Najd would speak Hindi. And I think Sylvie and Robert would speak Italian.

Better art style, yes, but the low-polygon models don’t compare to XIV. At least SNK’s making an effort to better their 3D skills, especially since they could actually afford the Unreal Engine 4 for the upcoming Samurai Shodown and The King of Fighters XV.
