I have my boiler in a cabinet sitting on the worktop, I think it looks better than a normal cabinet with some pipes covering. Beautiful kitchen though,good job.

aw this looks so good and it's amazing how you did all the work yourself, the only thing I don't like personally is they grey flooring but the lighting really helps with that, plus it's a matter of personal taste :D

I agree! I also don’t like the grey flooring 😅 It was a compromise as a friend has it going spare from a project he had finished. Good quality stuff but I’d of preferred a shade of oak I think! But the price was too good for me not to!

Nice looking room. It looks like you need to adjust the faucet/tap handle and rotate it to the right. That’s if you’re right handed or to the left if you’re a leftie. It shouldn’t be directly under the faucet spout.

I’ve got to ask the grey polystyrene from the dish washer does that stay on because it says do not remove and I’ve noticed a lot of people have plastic things where the grey bit was , I’m currently putting in my dishwasher also kitchen looks fantastic

I left it on, I asked a few friends who fitted kitchens and they said it may act as soundproofing, instructions on my dishwasher didn’t mention them.

😂 they’re not bad for the money imo They’re the “GoodHome Alpinia Matt Green Painted Wood Effect Shaker” From B&Q they typically do a good kitchen discount a couple of times a year.

What did u do about insulation on those walls?

I had cavity wall insulation however it was causing damp so had to remove it, which was a real pain. I had to make holes in the wall and vacuum out the insulation. I did this in a previous video but I opted for underfloor insulation where previously there was no underfloor insulation and the removal of the damp causing cold bridging/wall insulation.

Hello, I like watching these kinds DIY videos but I have to give you some constructive criticism, you're talking so much that I have no interest in watching anymore because what I want to see is the job being, start to finish (not pictures, a video) and should also be in a time lapse way and definitely not too long, 48 minutes is long......way too long. All the best.

100% agree, it was all talk, no work.. I mean, obviously he did the work but we just didn't get to see much of it, just "This is what I am going to do" Then BAM! "Image of it done.. sad really because he does lovely work, just not showcasing his talents properly.. the view of his back when showing us some actual sawing was classic.
