It has been confirmed that she is from Khaenri'ah. Atleast, from a lineage originating from Khaenri'ah called the "Crimson Moon Dynasty". Apparently, her eyes resemble that of Khaenri'ahn eyes. Just tilted more and a more concentrated red color.

One thing I love is that in each harbingers theme they use aspects of small musical queues from the winter night lazzo trailer (ex dottores theme uses the trumpets that can be heard in lazzo and arlecchino uses the trombones that can be heard in her first appearance in lazzo)

I equally love Signora's and Scaramouche's sountracks, because this is opera + rock, as fatui + fire and opera + electronic + jp music, as fatui + robot with electro gnosis + Inazuma, i like Tartaglia theme, but not so much, and i love Arlecchino's soundrack, i really love it, this is again opera and new interpretation of Fatui's theme, but it's could be better without electronic and dubsteb, because this is just don't fit to Arlecchino. I associate elecronic with electric energy, and dubstep with something robotic and technological, then agression and fire i more associate with rock, and... I don't know, i can't stop thinking, about how much better Arlecchino's soundtarck might be sound without electronic and dubstep...

I'm seeing a lot of people being harsh to this theme so I'm actually going to defend it, using the lore to my aid. [Some Arlecchino Quest Spoilers | Also this is pretty long, so I'm not exactly not expecting a "I ain't reading allat"] Of course, let me preface by saying that music taste is one of the most subjective things you could ever have an opinion on - so I'm not invalidating anyones distaste for this piece; but I would like to speak about why I love it so much. I love Genshin Lore. There's a very clear theme and trend being shown in Fontaine with its weekly bosses. The usage of Dubstep is foreign and unusual in Genshin, since its soundtrack is predominantly orchestral... WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES IT SO COOL TO ME! The dubstep is a trend used for fights against that which defies Teyvat/is alien. Arlecchino has very clear ties to Khaenri'ah - which we KNOW was the most technologically advanced nation in Teyvat. This technological aspect leans into the EDM along with Snezhnaya too - which is the second most advanced nation in Teyvat's history. Being a harbinger certainly ties her to it as one of her defining characteristics. Arlecchino herself commands powers that are most definitely not from Teyvat; her powers are more than just Pyro. This is clearly shown in the cutscene where she literally brings the traveller to their knees. Aside from Arlecchino herself, dubstep is also used in the Narwhal fight when battling against the Shadow. In that fight, the dubstep is warrented as the narwhal itself is very much alien - (likely) being birthed within the Sea of Quanta and well outside the domain of Teyvat, let alone the Heavenly Principles' domain. While I don't know enough about Arlecchino to understand what her powers are or how she got her curse (It will probably be revealed/hinted to me through the Character Story text and voicelines that I don't have unlocked as of writing), it's very obvious that not only is she unnatural, she bares power close to that of a God. Quote back in the game, It's stated that the Top 3 Harbingers have been blessed with power to rival even the Gods of Celestia. Arlecchino is the 4th, just shy of them and she's already displayed incredible force. What I'm getting at is that the EDM and dubstep have legitimate reasons for being in the game and for these themes and that as we face more and more powerful and formidable entities we might be seeing even more of it in the future. Of course I'm biased since I love these characters and liking the genre helps too, but it does pain me to read criticisms that fail to see the blindingly obvious - such as how it doesn't fit and shouldn't be in the game because of it or things to do with or that it doesn't fit the character (when it actually does very well!). Like what music you like, I love all of Genshin's Weekly Boss music and I think they all go incredibly hard (at least somewhat. Looking at Dvalin's theme...) I just think that people should take more time to critically interpret and understand the meaning of the music instead of judging it by the sound alone, is all.

I’m super late to see this lol, but a few things that kinda fit with this.. [SPOILERS] In the promotional anime for Arlecchino, when she is facing off of against the previous Knave (Mother)- we clearly see Arlecchino use her powers WITHOUT her Vision (which can normally be seen on her back), so whatever power she may be wielding may be similar to the Traveler in nature, or possibly even succeeding that something closer to the Goddess that Lumine and Aether fought at the beginning of the game… all in all, a DOPE theme- this character alone has inspired me to grind out hours just to pull for her, a very nice job from Hoyo this time around- and the theme is such a nice hit when it comes to story building on the character

To be completely honest, I get everyone can have their own opinions and taste when it comes to music and this might sound rude but the people who dislike this theme for the dubstep/em not matching or mixing properly, it not fitting properly, or the ones calling it a soulless rehash of Keiichi Okabe's Nier soundtracks are just wrong and entirely out of their friggin minds. This theme is amazing, and the Abyssal Electronic music makes sense as voicelines have confirmed she is part of the Crimson Moon Dynasty (Min and Ashikai were on to something!)

I also never said it was "evil" or not okay to dislike things, I understand people have different tastes and this may not be to their taste. Pop isn't my thing but that doesn't mean I go around calling Taylor Swift or BTS bad music artists. My comment isn't meant to be rude but it is still factual, it isn't right to unfairly hate the theme for reasons some probably don't really understand. Not to mention this community has a bad follower problem, where they follow an opinion they don't really believe in because it's the more popular option.

I was feeling like making an essay but i got bored. But for me the music is good even if is a lot of nothing, maybe wasnt what i expected, but i wasnt bad. Just that i just didnt like the fight overall and i feel the theme was i bit off, or it just didnt click for me (Maybe because i just use the menu for quick fight and i was beating her like nothing. I dont know, isnt really meacing tbh) I feel it is more about the fight than the theme, it would surely click on me when i do the quest, but i still feel arle like... Okay sorry i cant so goofy sorry lmao, i cant, the music is good but i cant with her sorry xd. Boss themes before Fontaine are like “HECK YEAH THIS IS MY SHOW LET’S ROCK,” but the whale one and this have more “menacingly approaching” vibe. I didn't really like it at first, but the version released on the official channel changed my mind. They may quietly change the version of the game because the mix just isn't as good as it should be.

Despite yu peng chen leaving i felt confident HoyoMix can do as much wonder as him because the Fontaine ost and character demo music have mostly been incredible. Alas the boss themes so far have been quite lacking :(( none has topped Polumbia Omnia yet **in my opinion**

yep. in my opinion the first phase is better than the second. the transition at the beginning in the second phase with the choir and then the strings just dont blend well in my opinion. theres other things that bother me but i wont go into all that

@@TheRafasama10 remember that this is all opinion. the transition at the beginning in the second phase with the choir and then the strings just don't blend well. The percussion that is keeping the momentum at 3:40 feels kind of weak to me since you know Arlecchino is one of the more powerful harbingers. 3:45 the progression here starts to get better. 4:21 alto singer makes sense for the character but it doesn't sit right with me for me because throughout the entire time the alto is singing, I'm reminded of how scaramouches boss fight lyrics sounded. 4:58 - 5:02 this also gives beta lyrics vibes. everything else past that is good and enjoyable. I'm not trying to criticize the composer and the singers cuz they sure as hell can do way better than me at their job, but there are some parts that just feel unpolished to me. Still a good boss theme overall but did not exceed my expectations. AGAIN THIS IS ALL OPINION SO DONT BE COMING AFTER ME FOR ALL THAT ARE READING THIS.

@@Kajiura_I like phase 2, but I think it's too short for some reason, compared to scaramouche or signora I feel like the sung part is the shortest, making the theme seem like it ends earlier than normal, phase 1 is cool, just the voices pickup lines that didn't work very well in my view

Кто-нибудь, обьясните уже новому композитору Геншина, который заменил Ю Пенг Чена, что саундтрек не станет автоматом круче и эпичнее, если бездумно и неуместно вставить в него электронный клубняк/дабстеп. Уже второй саундтрек, который этот "гений" портит своим "прекрасным" виденьем музыки Геншина. Ну просто, к чему эти биты под конец первой фазы ? К чему вообще дабстеп во второй фазе ? Это саундтрек предвестника Фатуи, это должна быть опера смешанная с темой персонажа, в образ Арлекино дабстэп вообще не вписывается, как и электроника в целом. Электроника вообще уместна в данном случае только в боях с кем-то электрическим/техническим (как Райден/Скарамучча), именно поэтому к саундтреку Скарамуччи не придирались за электронику - потому что мы дрались с грёбаным роботом. А тут уже второй раз мы (игроки) дерёмся с "магическим" противником, и слышим дабстеп во второй фазе, который вообще не к месту

Mixing didn’t change from the beta; still meh. Thankfully, they’re releasing the new album of 4.6 music during this version, too, so I assume the official release of the tracks and their mixing will be improved basing off previous albums.
