As you might've guessed, Capitol Records took care of the budget for this video. This was the first ever album by a Korean artist to ever debut at #1 on the Billboard top 200 album chart. I ended up chaperoning a group of girls to their concert here before the pandemic sent the world to Hell and had a way better time than I expected to. Their SUPER ONE album is spectacular.

I don’t leave many comments but you are reacting to all my favorite groups! It’s really nice to see someone who enjoys the artists and performances. I love all of SuperM’s songs, so it doesn’t matter which MV you react to next. Can’t get enough of these guys.

SuperM actually did a collab with Marvel on some merch. 😊 And yes, that run after Baekhyuns high note was Ten... good job, I haven't seen many reactors get that! I LOVE how you pay close attention to each member

When I first saw this MV I was like, "THESE BOYS UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT" lol. The only complaint I have is that Ten needed more lines but his "whoa whoa yeah" will forever live rent free in my mind. I was so happy that Taemin got to be in a group with his bestie Kai, I live for their friendship. Mark's part was it for me, I was like dayummmm.

SuperM was created by SM Entertainment in collaboration with Capitol Records in the U.S. This group features 7 of the best of the best when it comes to dance, vocals, rap and performance in Kpop. The members of SuperM are some of the absolute best from SM Entertainment's most popular groups. Baekhyun who is one of the best vocalist in the industry and Kai who is one of the top 2 dancers in the industry are from EXO; Taemin is the other top dancer in the industry with one of the most well respected solo careers and he is a member of the legendary group SHINee; Taeyong is the leader of NCT and he is known for his dancing and rapping and Mark is the main rapper from NCT-127/NCT-U; and Ten is the main dancer and lead vocalist and Lucas is a rapper and visual of NCT-U/WayV. SuperM debuted in the U.S. in October 2019, so that is why all of their main track songs and MVs are mostly in English because "Jopping" was meant to by their foyer into the U.S. music market. SuperM are considered the Avengers of Kpop because the group is so multi-talented, with some of the most influential idols in the industry, representing multiple nationalities and Kpop generations, who are poised to take over the world. Mark is Korean-Canadian, so his native language is English. And WayV is the Chinese sub-unit of NCT, so not only does Ten and Lucas speak Korean and English, but they also speak Mandarin. Ten also speaks Thai because he is from Thailand and Lucas speaks Cantonese because he is from Hong Kong and a little Thai because his mom is Thai. And although, Baekhyun, Kai, Taemin and Taeyong are all native Korean, they also speak many other languages. For example, Taemin and SHINee are very popular in Japan, so he is fluent in Japanese as well. Baekhyun has been chosen as the leader of SuperM. (Baekhyun is also the oldest member at 29 and Mark is the youngest at 22) However, Taemin is the one with the most seniority in the group. Taemin is only 28 years old, but he debuted 4-10 years before any of the other members of SuperM. Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 when he was 14 years old, so he is a super senior member of the group. In other words, as part of the hierarchy of respect, Taemin is the one everyone looks up to. Which, might be why Taemin was chosen to play such a major role within the group's storyline, and why we have seen him prominently featured in almost everything to do with SuperM. It is said that the concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so, I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group, just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big supergroup. I think the concept of the group all stems from EXO's concept and storyline. As you know, the members of EXO are all aliens from Planet Exo, and each of the members has a superpower that is specific to them. From day one, EXO's story has been that they were sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are thought to be caused by the Red Force. As a member of EXO, Baekhyun has the power to control light and Kai has the power of teleportation, so those powers are nothing new for them. However, the concept of superpowers is new for all the other SuperM member (You will see the other member's special powers and abilities if you check out all of their teaser videos which were originally released leading up to the release of "Jopping.") So I think because Kai and Baekhyun are part of the group, SuperM's storyline is tied to EXOs storyline. I think SuperM are supposed to be coming together to fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop them from corrupting and taking over the world, etc. And just like the Marvel Avengers members each have their own Superhero story, when they come together to form The Avengers they combine their story and concept and weave elements of each of the member's backstories into The Avengers storyline. I see SM Entertaiment doing the same thing with SuperM. Also, just like how the Marvel Avengers come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's storyline. SuperM is taking the "best" members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force. And just like how the movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the fight. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's dream concept and storyline also connects to EXO's storyline, just like how many believe that Red Velvet is connected to EXO's storyline -- it is believed that SM's girl group Red Velvet, EXO's sister group, may be the Red Force. I think that SM may even have set it up so that at least all of their third generation groups -- and now even fourth gen. groups, with the introduction of aespa -- have storylines that connect, link together and intertwine. And although NCT and SHINee don't have a backstory that has anything to do with being Superheroes in the same way as EXO does, I find it interesting that, for example, NCT and WayV have songs called "Superhuman" and "Take Off" which both have sort of superhero type themes in their MVs, and one of Ten's solo songs was called "New Heroes". With what I know about SM, it wouldn't surprise me if this is something they have had in the works for a really long time and they probably have been creating ways to foreshadow things to come in SuperM that create connections between the members and their original groups. One thing SM has mastered since the creation of EXO, is how to tell a story and how to create a mystery that connects even the most minute of details together to build an epic adventure for fans. SuperM's storyline is already connected to EXO's storyline, and I think SM may be working on expanding the story to its other groups, in the same way that "The Avengers" connects all the individual superheroes' stories when they come together to form The Avengers. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with their MV for "Moonwalk" and I think the story in their "Moonwalk" MV is a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think WayV's "Turn Back Time" MV is also part of that story. To help explain, I think EXO, as members of SuperM, are working with the other "Avengers" members to try and stop X-EXO. (X-EXO are EXO's alter ego clones) If you pay attention to what Kai and Baekhyun are wearing in "Jopping," their outfits are very similar to the all black outfits they are wearing in EXO's "Obsession " MV -- Kai even wears the same parachute backpack in both MVs -- which seems to indicate then that the version of Kai and Baekhyun in SuperM are the EXO members who are the good guys. Because in "Obsession" the members in all black are supposed to be EXO and the members in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup are the X-EXO members who have been created by the Red Force. So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third and fourth generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa and maybe even Taemin's solo work, and possibly even SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. And now I see connections being made with SHINee's most recent "Don't Call Me" and "Atlantis" MVs, as well as aespa's MVs and NCT-127's "Save" MV, and even SM's older groups, such as Super Junior's "House Party" MV., etc. It is becoming clear that SM is designing the SM Universe to include all of its groups and it is tying all of their storylines together. If you remember in SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV we see the SHINee members at one point go through some sort of wormhole as they are teleported somewhere and we see them all posing in all black outfits. This looks very similar to the scene in SuperM's "Jopping" MV when the SuperM members are coming together at the beginning of "Jopping" as they are teleported or travel through the wormhole. So, it looks like maybe SHINee are preparing to eventually join in the fight as well. And you will see instances in WayV's MVs, such as "Moonwalk," where it looks as though Ten and Lucas are there to gather the members to bring them into the battle, and in "Turn Back Time" it looks like the WayV members are all beat up like they have been in a fight, etc.

I just blinked and look, you're reacting to SuperM! Did you know that Taemin and Kai are total BFFs and have been since trainee days? It's true. In fact SHINee, having debuted four years prior to EXO, mentored both EXO and NCT. Jonghyun especially tutored many new idols in singing (Taemin being his first and favorite protégé). Jonghyun's voice, songs and Taemin's voice are the most precious gifts he for us. Baekhyun was the one who did that high note that you thought might be Ten. Lee Soo Man was the one who put this group together when he got a request from Capitol Records. Guess who was the very first member they approached? Taemin, SM's Ace. He was supposed to be their leader, and it was implied in all the teasers that he was the leader. However, Taemin wanted none of that and true to his mischievous nature and the fact that he always finds a way to get what he wants, Taemin did a VLIVE with the other members to nominate a leader. Of course they all immediately nominated Taemin. He proceeded to decline LIVE and nominate Baekhyun because he was the eldest, despite Taemin having seniority in the industry and being the most experienced. At that point, there was nothing SM could do about it. I'm sure Taemin laughed all the way home.

SuperM is amazing. So fun to watch

You really know these artists and their vocals and this makes you one of the best reactors. We were really blessed to have Super M with those amazing talents. I had my dream come true to see Taemin live and even more special to see some of my other favourite artists when Super M came to Vancouver Canada. I have limited mobility and live with chronic pain and rarely go out, but for this concert I did everything in my power to go. I had excellent seats right next to the stage and I paid extra to see them do their warm up. Since I was in a wheelchair I was on the floor and next to the stage, the other few people were in the stands. I was 56 and when I saw Taemin I actually started shaking and crying like a teenager (I never acted like this as a teenager! I shocked myself LOL). He was so close several times and smiled at me and the other guys were just as friendly. The best concert ever!! and I used to go to many before. I just had to share this with you. 😀

I’m going to chime in on this because I was able to go see them when they performed at Madison Square Garden the first and only K-pop group to do so they LIT 🔥 that place up I had them good front row seats best concert that I have seen in a long time. I took my best friend who is a non-K-pop fan and she was blown away lol her reaction was priceless. But Corona de-La Virus came along. They still did there last concert which was online last April which was the first of many online K-pop concert By SM for there artist ..🥺🥺 I Miss Super M…. Great reaction Demons 🤭🤭🤭

Lee Soo-man is a genius (he's responsible for SHINee too). He selected Taemin first with the idea he would be the leader. Instead, Taemin has been a super mentor for the members. He already released a stage video and a promation video for two of the songs on the album "Fever" and "Maniac." He is very well known for his amazing vocals. I was lucky enough to see them in concert 2019 San Diego CA. It was as if the Beatles were there everyone went ape shit bananas and I was the biggest banana there.
