I will watch the complete vid, but I’m here from the clip off of Facebook. I have not heard anyone break it down so plainly-how you will “go through” with a woman if you’re the first “good man” that she has ever had. Every word you spoke is truth. Y’all continue to be transparent and relatable.. you’re reaching your targeted audience! 🤝🏾

Did some thinking after this pod about feminity. And I gotta say I know when I shifted initially. I can recall men I was in my feminine with probably 1 or 2 back when I was in college. 1 I think it's not being with a masculine man that causes a woman to shift & 2 when you've been hurt, lied to, cheated on etc it becomes a defense mechanism it's like you begin to view your feminine self as weak so you start to feel men think they can take advantage of you so you become more strong and tough to protect yourself & let men know you're not weak. But women are naturally feminine that's the nature of a woman it's those circumstances that alter the make up & women have to heal to get back to their natural element and attract the man that fits that. I feel more feminine now than I have in years because I truly have peace even by myself. No one's stressing me out, no one's mistreating me & that's how you rest in your femininity

Yea and in most cases when you go through those things… there was no stable relationship (parents) in the household you grew up in. Not you specifically. So when you go through those things (1&2) the things you’ve seen your mother go through is reinforced… niggas ain’t shit. Seeing multiple men come in and out your life. It becomes second nature. Lack of both parents present makes it 10x harder to navigate and weed out if you don’t have a mother that has been actively showing you how to or if she hasn’t been remarried.
@Best-ThingYouNeverHad

@themessage6114 even if she has been remarried if the example is not a positive one the same applies. I've seen that from both angles where it was a son who's mother married wrong & the same with a daughter. Both were effected and struggled with relationships as a result.

Lads the vibes are immaculate and shit these are crazy times when it comes to feminism. Enjoyed the pod. I saw that y'all are giving away $2500 bucks. I really wanna pitch for that and I mean you guys listed it as prize for Summer 🏝️. Love that y'all are giving away to your audience. $2500 is my one semester fee for med-school. I was in Ukraine but cause of the war I just applied for a transfer in Georgia. I'll go to 4th year. Transfer costed us a bit more than anticipated and lost all of my stuff in Ukraine. The money would really put towards my fees. I can show you all the docs and stuff confirming I'm a student and a good one. Anyways appreciate the podcast! ❤

Traditionally, Black women always worked because after slavery, the Black man was considered a threat to white people, especially in the southern states. In the northern states, both Black women AND men had to work because their combined salaries was equivalent to that of the white male. Today, depending upon what geographical region you live in, it still takes two salaries in order to make it. In the San Francisco Bay Area, the average single family home is $1.3m. The average one bedroom apartment is $4000 per month. Now you want to send your child to college. College costs alone can run as high as $200k for four years and that’s not an Ivy League. So in order to build or create generational wealth, it is essential that both parties work. No matter where you live in the country, times have changed and what was once considered “traditional” is no longer the traditions of yesteryear. It’s time to embrace new traditions if there is ever going to be progress, especially in the Black community. There is no such thing as too much money in the household. Power has no place in a partnership. It just holds you both down. Change the mindset, and use that power to grow.

Most people are not living in places where the rent is $4,000 a month for a one bedroom. This applies to parts of Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. Right next to NY is New Jersey where homes and apartments are cheaper. Texas and parts of Florida also have a reasonable cost of living.

Great points were made regarding single parent households however, I did notice that y’all said that if both parents are in the household the child will basically have a better life than if they were in a single parent household and that’s not necessarily true. I also noticed when mentioning single parent households and how that impacts the child the responsibility was put on women solely, why?
@Ayommari
@Ayommari Жыл бұрын
Because they acknowledge that men do not fully participate in raising children even if married - it mostly falls on the mother even if she works. That's why when women break up with their child's father, or divorce their husbands men jump to saying "Children need their dads" because many men are aware that they only assist if they live in the house and when they have the time. But if the relationship ends they will not make as much of an effort to be a parent. Some men also take away their assistance (Physical and/or Financial) to punish the woman for leaving the relationship. Of course this is not all men, but it applies to a lot. Hence the conversation.

Greetings, Let me first it is refreshing to see you young men have meaningful conversation. My comment is a bit long... I know..but it's based on my own self reflection and journey to heal from personal/generational trauma. I am married 23 yrs+ w/grown children. I had a supernatural spiritual awakening. I have never experienced such peace and stability until I submitted to TMH will & laws to govern my life. I admit I'm far from perfect, however I've lived a little & have some insight. Most of us are stuck in the "What I want phase" instead of what my nation ( our people group ), family or future family needs & how to work towards that goal. There is a lot of sacrifice on all ends but it is worth it. As a people we can't come together if we don't know We Exist for a bigger purpose. The Salt and Light in the Earth...That purpose is Isaiah 61:6, Exodus 19:6,1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:6. How could we possibly assume that role when we as a people behave completely opposite? Many like to say we kings/queens; but people who are Royalty have responsibilities meaning the kingdom as a whole comes before their own selfish desires.. a kingdom starts within yourself and grows when we take care of getting our personal families in order as examples. our children need this... you see it is about them continuing our legacy... Our people...My people perish for a lack of knowledge, until we as a people repent from our RECKLESS, Dysfunctional Ways and SELF Righteousness and return to the divine order. THE COVENANT made with ''God's people'' US-the so called ''black people''. It's all in the Bible but many are ''too busy to read'' sad... our ancestors weren't allowed to read and now nobody has the time. If you don't truly know your history you are doomed to repeat it. That Bible is about us disobeying TMH and Him using these nations to punish us until we realize We NEED HIM to guide us. The Deuteronomy 28 Curses will continue to consume our people. Script Says in all of our getting, get an Understanding... understanding of what? WHO you Are and What our reasonable service is. My spirit aches for our people... minds are in bondage. Distracted by SM and Entertainment and this self destructive music/movies etc.. I normally refrain from commenting, but our situation as a group of people really is dire. We need to repent and get back in order to receive the blessings of the promise. the promise is that The Almighty Creator our Father YHWH said HE Will Restore us but we MUST repent and obey if desire true peace and restoration.. I pray someone is touched by this and seek's Hhis face. May TMH lead you into HIS Marvelous Light.
