Boyhood is one of the best albums released this year. They outdid themselves in my opinion.

ok i have things to SAY about this. first of all this song changed my life but one of my favorite things abt it is their commitment to their concept. the album is designed like a 90s/2000s magazine, for their first stage they had those big retro looking subtitles in the center of the screen and they just have all these little things that all go with their concept and i think its fucking genius

i agree this comeback season has been INSANE. everyone has been dropping bangers

tnx are just getting better and better every comeback... also this was the perfect time to bring back the first gen sound and choreo

Actually, as a carat like you, I have also been keeping an eye on them these past few days, and I keep listening to their song, especially "Love or Die." Earlier, I never thought that I had already memorized this dance for this song since I like it so much... Being a new fan of them, although they are not my ultimate bias group, my favorite member is EUNHWI, since I watched Loud to get to know them more, and yeah, he really is my bias, a genius composer and producer indeed. I've been addicted to this group these past few days, and I found out that they are so funny, too. I LOVE THEM...

MY BOYGROUP COMEBACK OF THE YEAR SO FAR!! they're insane

EunHwi is getting even scarier!! Both dancing and singing-wise he is getting there more and more!! Just wow… from a self-taught composer and rapper without any art school etc, going through a Kpop survival show to this point, where he is slowly getting to the level of an all-rounder and freaking essential member for this group!! Just imagine him making a solo debut in the future… 🫨🫨 The only thing about this comeback and The New Six in general, which bothers me, is HyunSoo not having rap lines. From LOUD we know he has the soul of a rapper (and I personally prefer his style and attitude than KyungJoon’s) and it is a shame they don’t give him a space to show his skills. I mean, JunHyeok can rap as well, but in his case I understand they want people to see him as the main and strong vocal of this group, but with HyunSoo they could present him as a rapper. Like… you have already SungJun and TaeHun singing and in this song all of them sing (even rappers) after all… so it is harder for HyunSoo to shine. And also it would be cool to have them as 6 members group with 3 rappers and 3 vocals, where all of them are really equally balanced/skilled with their dancing skills (beside EunHwi, who is getting there!)

This is dedinitely my personal favorite song from them. The chorus is soooo fun and catchy.

I personally absolutely loved this MV too, the members also performed so well that I can't stop watching it, usually I would just listen to the music on spotify or something but this MV makes me come back to it every time ALSO!! I believe the reason why all the sets are so different is because they're related to their overall "90s idol concept". I'm not sure how to explain it but if you look at the teasers for this concept/cb, all these sets have their own purpose/own commercial with a 90s vibe. So maybe this MV is like a collection of the "90s idol group's various activities" sorry i can't explain very well fjdvgh

This was the song and the mv that got me into THENEWSIX when previously I didn't have any interest in them - i think the mv did such a good job at showcasing all of their colours as idols and people and it's so easy to be drawn into them and be curious enough to become a fan - this past month I've spent falling in love with THENEWSIX and I seriously think that they are just - so good? I hope that they keep on garnering fans steadily just like how I got into them so wholeheartedly after Kickit4Now Kickit4Now is my favourite kpop song of all time now, and TNX have become one of my favourite groups. Boyhood the album is like The New Six's declaration that they will do music that encompass past, present and future while also retaining their core charms that we have been seeing since debut such as the rap/hiphop, sentimentality and energy/rigidity. It is about The New Six themselves. Specifically at mixing eras, it is probably why it feels clashing. They said they are zeroth generation idol haha. But as a thx who bias Hwi, it's a relief that you find that it works because it's seems a heavy vision towards music. Did you know? Hwi, the member who have been involved in their music, thought about the development of mixing past and present kpop genres as he is one of those who misses the old kpop sound. Kick It 4 Now seems to show their friendship and the summary of Boyhood which both transcends time vocally, instrumentally and visually. What I like most that I think captures that is when they wore the maroon and blue retro inspired outfits which seems to be in modern times. I think Boyhood to them is really personal. And I am here supporting what they would like to do on their music

honestly, i gave up listening to Kpop for some time, then watching LOUD and see the potential within them (especially for having EunHwi in it), i gotta say...they pull me back in it, in every single song, they did it over and over again... My playlist now is just full of their songs from Way Up, Love or Die and now Boyhood.... 100 out of 10. Thank you to Psy for sticking to his stand telling them that they do not need to be like other boygroups, they can and should make their own color and they surely are doing it amazingly. I have been waiting for this reaction and you are clearly on point on everything. I had followed this group since their LOUD days and they always surprised and touched my heart since their debut. All their discography are unskippable, especially this latest album Boyhood. This might be the only group that every member is my bias. Their talents is already overflowing, and they're only on the starting line of their journey. Pretty sure there will be more surprises along the way.

Been waiting to hear your take on their comeback! 😍 Arguably my favorite album of theirs so far. As far as title tracks go, I agree with you that they're different from Love or Die but just as good. I loved the mv so much but couldn't really point out why aside from their "energy". When you pointed out how their acting and performance all throughout brought everything together, it just made more sense why I loved it. Yeah it didn't have the standard beauty shots and straight up acting scenes but the message really came through and their charm just shined so bright. Shiny is definitely a word I would describe them as hahaha.. Also agree with Hwi. Can't deny that this is definitely his era. Omg I can't deny how much he just brings it on stage and his looks just pulled so many new fans in. Not to mention the amount of fans he bias wrecked hahaha..
