i always wince internally when i hear people say that they've found their sound with emo/punk/rock, because i am 100% sure that the next comeback will be something different :'D i, personally, am okay with it. they do fit this genre a lot, but i bet it'll be a couple of albums before they come back to it. chaos chapter is over now, so minisode2 (probably??) will be something brighter, but who knows? i do think they will still have pop-rock songs as b-sides in their future projects. but i loved this era a lot! i will miss it!

In conclusion, Yeonjun didn't die this era, but everyone else did. :)

Honestly I love TXT’s musical direction, they literally are constantly getting better and doing new things. I love this sound for them and I hope that they will continue to use it in the future. These past two TT have made me love Taehyun’s voice so much more. And have made me love TXT in general so much more.

TXT confirmed that all of the girls in the MV represent the fandom "MOA", so BeomGyu's scene with the MOAs in the chatroom also counts as the 'girl'. The entire repackaged album is dedicated specifically to the fandom.

What surprised me a lot about this song is that it contains uncensored swear words. This shows that TXT are no longer the sweet teens of their early career. I haven't heard any kpop songs that use the word f**k yet. I have to admit, I like it when Soobin sings 'I f**kin' take it all'. It also raises emotions. I really like this more mature version of TXT.

TXT’s been killing it this year. They honestly do not have any bad title tracks and they keep getting better every comeback.

I just love how the quality of their music keeps getting better and better and they aren’t afraid to try new things. (I have to give praise to Bighit for that too) and it’s just crazy to me how they can pull off any concept at this point. Like these are the same boys from Crown??! they completely changed image but are still credible and nothing feels forced. I really like the journey they took on

I don't think that they'll hold onto this concept for title tracks much longer (even though they might get back to it) but it's totally fine because even now, their B-sides are incredibly versatile. That's what they've always been. So even if their next comeback is bright sounding, I do think that they'll have some pop rock B-sides.

There's a girl, but it also places the audience in place of the girl. The way they cut it makes it seem like the boys are interacting with each other, but they're in different settings. I thought Soobin was sitting across Yeonjun at the diner, because of the white top, but I'd have to rewatch.

Idk what spell did "I know I love you" cast on me, I instantly started falling in love with TXT's discography. LO$ER= LOVER was the perfect song for this repackage album. I think I am finally seeing TXT in a new light and I think this concept really suits them the most

I really liked the idea of the repackage following the theme and sound of the previous album, specially because it was such a short period between the two releases, it felt like an extension to the era with new content.

the fact that there’s a line in one of their songs (i think in “run away”) “it hurts more when i laugh than when i cry” and in the mv beomgyu is laughing through tears after falling of the bike... yeah, it hurts

I was surprised to here that many other artists do their repackages with a different genres/styles of the original album. What the staff did with TXT‘s TCC:FIGHT OR ESCAPE seemed so logical to me. I thought all repackaged albums are like like this 😅

They're always exploring other subgenres of pop while still staying true to that bright pop sound of their first two albums, and Im sooo here for it. As for which title track I like more, I enjoy them both but 0x1=Lovesong is still my favorite. It's such a passionate and emotional pop rock ballad.

I'm not MOA coz I can't support them physically till now but I can feel and taste about TXT music coz I stan them since their very first debut and especially both I and they are Generation-Z boys. Since CROWN to LO$ER=L♥️VER, they never make me disappointed. Among 4th Gen Kpop male groups, TXT is the most suitable group with Generation-Z lifestyles. This is the reason why I stan them and hope they will keep going this concept with different tastes.

Txt is so fascinating to me. Every comeback has been so widely different. Crown was such a bright pop sounding song, then run away had a more magical ethereal sound, then can't you see me was much darker, then we went to blue hour which was very upbeat and an uplifting dance song, now we are at emo/punk rock sound with I Know I love you and LO$ER LOVER. They are an amazing group. One of the very few groups for me who can constantly change up their sound and always pull it off seamlessly

I feel like bight has planned for this group to portray the evolution from boyhood to manhood. I couldn't really get into their earlier songs because it's quite 'young', whereas I'm quite old. I did love the quality of the sound tho, so I was eagerly on the lookout for their next evolution. So glad I was paying attention because IKILY floored me completely. And then listening to that whole album in my bed as the sun was rising sealed the deal for me. With this song, when I'm not listening to it it plays in my head basically all day, every day

This repackaged title is a GEM, it's so good, it suits the whole chaos chapter, i'm glad TXT tried this concept this time. Can't wait for their next comeback to see what concept they're gg go for. That said, this is totally Beomgyu's era, the acting, the styling, EVERYTHING.

Both Yeonjun and Soobin represents "financial problem", Beomgyu with "parents disappointments", Taehyun is about "love problem" and Hueningkai with "employment/job". They all represent big problems that are relatable to all and they did good in acting even tho it is their very first intense acting. This TXT era literally grew on me and i will never forget that this kind of TXT exist when they change their genre in the next album T_T

after the freeze comeback and now fight or escape i realize how much beomgyu shines in this era i felt so proud and happy bcoz he gets more recognition and exposure, more lines and his vocals is *chefs kiss* the raspyness of tyunnings voice its suits so well like u can feel the whole emotion in the song yeonjun ofc level up his producing and rap skills while soobin's falsetto sends me chills fuck txt gave me this feelings

this is the last page of The Chaos Chapter and the next album will be Minisode2 and I'm pretty sure it'll be a different genre cuz y'all know TXT doesn't focus on the same genre every comeback and I will wait for them to comeback soon.

I’ve seen a lot of comments saying they’ll probably not come back to this style for a while, but in my opinion this is some of the most they’ve worked on the songs themselves so I think this is a taste of what they want to do themselves as musicians. Up until blue hour it’s been mostly pop but now it’s taken a different turn so I think they’ll continue to try out many different genres and maybe stick around a few they like personally and I think rock is one of them.

They already are together PD. This is all happening after their going to school era which is shown before where they are always in school in previous mvs. They all are leading their life in different forms and come together at the end to go to magic island not to drop off a cliff. But yes it can be interpreted as dropping off a cliff too tho.

I know kpop groups tend to try different concepts every comeback but I really wish that txt stays with this kind of sound, I just love it too much

I think Lovesong and LoserLover are the perfect combo, they flow so well with each other, the songs and mvs are connected, so I really love that they leaned into the concept a little more for the repackage. The Chaos Chapter had only two parts and the way they compliment each other, it's perfect. I can't say anything more than that lol it's just so pleasing to listen to them back to back < 3 I'm sure their next comeback will be something different because txt is a box full of surprises, but I'm also sure they fit every concept so I can't wait for what else they have in store for us ^^

Loser=Lover has completely grown on me! I find that interesting because my favorite song before this cb was Run Away. The fan chant is also just really fun for this song. Theory wise I've seen a lot of MOA speculate that Yeonjun is just daydreaming/hallucinating the other boys and running through memories they have and stories they've told him. Take that for what you will. I also still haven't gotten use to the new intro so there's that >.

I'm here for everything TXT realeses honestly. No single of their songs haven't being of my liking. To be honest before found them I was pretty much an indie rock kind of person so this song it's straight up my alley and it does trigger a lot of memories. At this point I think I personally prefer Lo$er = Lover but that could be because of how much the MV makes me feel. It took me couple of times to stop crying over it and I still find it so beautiful and sad. The coreography it's also one of my favorites for how sharp the movements are you really should see their performance of the song, they are amazing!!

I am just obsessed with this song. Even without a music video, this song is 10/10 for me. The chorus, and the pre-chorus building part just hit different in this song. I loved it.

ok so my take on the storyline in lovesong and loser lover is that loser lover happened BEFORE lovesong, like a prequel. basically the boys were going through some things in loser lover and decided to run away. yeonjun steals his parents car and idk if u noticed but yeonjun looked a bit nervous before driving away, maybe because he isnt the most experienced driver and u know, hes running away. soobin reassures him and they drive off. though as we can see, they drove off a cliff. it was most likely an accident, maybe caused by yeonjuns not so excellent driving skills but im not sure. basically all of the boys except yeonjun passed away in the accident and that affected him a lot mentally. in lovesong you can see hospital bracelets/bands, i don’t remember exactly what they were but im pretty sure there was one for a psychiatric hospital, meaning that there was clearly shit going on in yeonjuns head. basically what i think is that everything that happened in lovesong happened in yeonjuns imagination, it all happened in his head. its like he cant accept that the boys are dead (maybe cause it was partly his fault?) so he makes up this imaginary world where theyre alive and well. and in that world they decide to run away (again). so yeonjun steals the car (its the same car in both mvs) and they take off. as u know some small accidents happened on the way such as the crash (would also assume this is because of yeonjuns poor driving skills) and the car breaking down afterwards, but none of the boys ever got hurt, as if they were invincible in yeonjuns imagination. then they arrive at a place in the middle of nowhere and thats where they try to start the fire to warm themselves up but the lighter didnt work (they thought) so beomgyu (i think) throws it at the car and it suddenly catches on fire. the boys laugh it off and presumably just hung out and then went to sleep after. but when yeonjun wakes up, hes alone and the car is fine. he seems kinda disoriented and confused as if wondering where everyone went. then maybe all of the puzzle pieces fell together and he realized that everything that happened in lovesong never actually happened. its like everything was a dream. i think because of the boys dying and because of his home situation (his parents were fighting all the time) he kinda used the imaginary boys as a way to cope or forget about his real life where he had to face his problems. another sign that yeonjun was hallucinating/imagining the boys is all the fish you see throughout the lovesong music video that are just floating around everywhere, which wouldn’t happen in real life.

When you realize being emo was never a phase. Every TXT comeback just gets better.

here is my undeveloped theory: loser lover is the prequel as we all know. this is where they are experiencing hardships and feeling the need to run away from their life. they desperately need some form of escape. that is where lovesong comes in. in lovesong they are describing finding an escape from reality. you want to stay in that false reality because of how much you hate your life, you never want to leave that safe place that you've created for yourself. but when you lose yourself in that dream you can no longer function in your actual reality. now this is where i talk about blue hour. i think blue hour is the expectation where lovesong is the reality. blue hour, to my understanding, is about wanting to stay in that perfect moment with your friends. the mv is full of saturated colors and looks like a dream. but in the end it is telling the same story that lovesong is. about escaping from reality. so what the boys(txt) are seeing in the dream they've created is blue hour. but what is actually happening is what we, the audience, is seeing in lovesong. i don't know if this makes sense. in the last scene of loser lover the car drives off a cliff, referencing yeonjun's previous lyric about wanting to jump and spread your wings. i think this is a metaphor for the boys finally escaping to their fake reality where they can be free. the colors turn extremely saturated and it looks like a dream which is why them driving off of a cliff is leading to blue hour. this is where they can be together and be alright. but like i said, this doesn't last. the longer you spend in your false reality, the more you lose yourself. i hope i explained it well. their lyrics to no rules also support my theory.

I don’t think Txt will be keeping this rock/emo concept for their next comeback. They only did the same sound again because it was related to 0X1=LoveSong as its a repackage of that album thats what I think anways. I HAVE LOVED THESE COMEBACKS SO MUCH THO!

I've been supporting TXT since predebut but I've never been this obsessed with them before. This concept and sound suit them so well and I love how they are showing a new side and how they are using new vocal techniques (Taehyun's raspy voice for example). Also it is so cool how they use the standing mics for the choreo here. I don't know, I just love so much their recent stuff, they seem very confident with this concept.

Till now, I had only listened to Nap of the Star by TXT. I really love that song, I had it on repeat for weeks on end. This past week I saw the clips and maybe heard a few parts of the loser = lover online and thankfully. I properly listened to it and I Know I Love You too. These two songs gave me goosebumps, like literal goosebumps, at so many points. I was also surprised by the emo rock concepts, as the last time I had listened to them, it was a soft lullaby-like song. Anyway, the lyrics are impressive, and their vocals are just....WOW. I am so going to listen to TXT more from now.. they are really talented and are so diverse wrt what they do :-) And thank you PD for your insights as always.. it's so interesting to hear your thoughts on songs and mvs. Hope you are doing well and thank you once again!!
