The mini album is incredible, the 5 songs represent the 5 stages of grief and I have not been obsessed with something to this extent in a LONG time. "Thursday's Child Has Far To Go" represents acceptance and the emotions are conveyed SO SO well, it's incredible, that's my personal favorite from the songs :))

TXT is my favorite group currently because it doesn't feel like they're chasing trends like some other groups. They have their own style, and even when doing a trendy sound (like the disco in Blue Hour), they give it their own flavour and uniqueness

I just noticed that at 10:30 when PD mentions how kai looks elegant & romantic with the lace shirt, it almost seems like he's on a date or something before he turns into a bad boy. As he's on the phone he has a bouquet of flowers in his other hand & he kinda throws it in anger

"my tail wagging at you is the past now" is a reference to "Cat & Dog" from their debut album star!

as Beomgyu himself explained the making of his trashbag scene: basically he was lying on the verge/connecting split of two mattresses (with trashbags on top) and he was literally sinking inside as the two mattresses were being pulled out to opposite directions by the staff

I am always satisfied with their comebacks honestly, and this was no exception. Nevertheless, I Know I Love You is something that cannot be surpassed easily. That song was my favourite of last year and I still have not forgotten about it.

TXT are honestly kings. I’ve been listening kpop for the past 9 years and they’re the only group that caught my attention the same way EXO once did. I’m addicted!

TXT has also become one of my favorite groups. I feel like they fill the void of the KPOP genre that BTS sort of left behind after the Love Yourself era. I feel like a part of why I'm so in love with this comeback because it sort of reminds me of Fake Love (not that the song or MV were similar at all) but in the concept of being done with heartbreak and the darker theme plus the very KPOP sound that somehow doesn't sound like any other KPOP song. When they debuted, I knew they were going to be special but they've transcended beyond anything I had expected.

For the facial expressions, they bring me back to the performance of Frost with just how crazy their expressions were in that too.

25:53 My answer to this question: Ah yes, the holy trinity of TXT's emo tracks: 0X1=LOVESONG, LOSER=LOVER, and GOOD BOY GONE BAD. Each of these songs conveys different feelings and carry distinctly unique vibes. 0X1=L pulls me in emotionally. This song hits very close to home. 0X1=L hurts, but at the same time it feels like a comforting hug. Like my pains and scars are exposed but that's fine cos there's someone out there with the same scars that I have. Out of the three, LOSER=LOVER is lighter in tone and vibe. There's more hopefulness in this song. An air of carefreeness in it as well. GBGB is back into the darkness, but as a completely different person. I agree with what you said, it's so fun to listen to. It's as if i'm invited to be bad, like maybe being bad ain't so bad after all. Each song shines in its own special way, making it hard for me to pick a favorite. But if I had to pick, it would be OX1=LOVESONG. This song means so much to me. 0X1=L is so emotionally charged and everything about 0X1=L is so beautiful.

i remember when it had first been announced that BigHit was going to debut a new boy group, the amount of expectation these boys had to surmount was incredible. not once since their debut have i been let down by these boys, every comeback, every song -- their talent is truly out of this world. despite seeing almost every group in the industry right now, txt holds a beacon amongst the rest.

I am happy Beomgyu is getting more lines with every comebacks. One thing for sure TXT is on their own path, literally they are coming with new concepts every single time.

i'm a picky music lover and i stick to certain genres only but its not the same when its txt, they have different genres everytime whether its the title track or the bsides which makes it better because there will always be one song for everybody. txt expanded my taste in music genres and ever since i have been supporting them for their versatility and their creativity to portray a genre/concept really well.

They've come a long way since "Crown" (which I loved at the time and still love for what it is). Such a journey! So excited for where TXT is heading. 😍

Txt always full of surprises, also Taehyun said that minisodes are for experimental concept and sound, so they show a diferent side of them.

Though I really love this song I think it's gonna be so difficult for them to top 0x1=love song for me personally however this album overall is my favourite by them so far, all the b sides are immaculate! Opening sequence might be one of my all time favourite b sides but so is Thursday's Child and Trust Fund Baby, can't wait for you to check out the album and hopefully their performances. I hope they come to the UK I want to see them live so badly!

gbgb is a game changer nd' became my favorite tittle track of them. imo txt is the most unique artist of their generation, concept wise, music wise, they're truly in a whole different level nd' i see them being the future of k-pop. sayin' that i feel v proud of them cuz' they're making their own path in the music industry nd' their brand is being reconized more nd' more every cb.

I think Lovesong is really special as a song, but I do have to say that as a performance GBGB is really compelling. I am absolutely obsessed with Hueningkai's vocals in particular on this song. He really just keeps growing as a vocalist. So I think I'll still listen to Lovesong more, but I'll probably watch more performances of GBGB!!

Favorite comeback yet! TXT is getting better and better the more mature they become. I’ve loved watching them every step of the way and seeing the crazy growth they’ve shown. Good Boy Gone Bad IS my favorite, I think they are finally finding the genres that really fit them best. I Know I Love You, and Loser=Lover were a good indication of this….their voices fit the style so well. Also….they seem to be enjoying themselves more too. I think a lot of their early stuff was fun, but this style seems just more THEM if that makes sense. If you watch their variety shows, you know they aren’t “good boys” in that sense. They have no issue being open and honest about who they are as people. They are fun, chaotic, competitive, feisty, and like to push the envelope and run their managers ragged all for good fun and our enjoyment. I am loving this journey with them, and can’t wait for what’s to come!!

I just realized what I love about TXT’s title tracks. They have a bit of theatricality to them - I used to do musical theater in high school, and this song reminds me of songs from Spring Awakening, RENT, etc…they add their own flavor and raw acting talent to every song and Yeonjun’s literally the killer ace. He takes TXT to the next level (simply my opinion but you can debate me if you want 💁🏻‍♀️).

i was literally refreshing your channel every hour just waiting for this to come out, and i loved your review so much. you always catch all of the cool minor details and even point out things that i hadn't noticed before. txt have been my ults for a very long time, and the one thing i've learned is that they will ALWAYS surprise you, even when you think they can't anymore. their concept is every evolving, but so is their passion and their approach to music. all of them contribute heavily to the finished product, and try new things each comeback. 4/5 have song writing credits, yeonjun wrote all of his rap verses for the entire album, and he even contributed in making the choreography. thursday's child has far to go (the last track on the album) is produced by beomgyu, and he played the keyboard that works as the base element of the song. the unit songs are both amazing, and opening sequence for me is literally one of the best songs put out this year hands down. the entire album is a masterpiece navigating the 5 stages of grief, and i really hope you do an album listening party for it! it's been really cool to watch you fall in love with txt over this past year, thanks for this video!

txt has quickly become one of my favorite groups. since debut all of their releases and concepts have been spectacular and so cohesive even when following various genres! to me, "good boy gone bad" doesn't top "loser=lover", but oh man do i love it, i thought the chorus would become repetitive but i'm still bopping to it and as you said it's such a creative take on the more "bad boy" vibe, it has the unique txt charm and fantasy to it. my only critique to the song is that i wish the final adlibs were a little bit louder, especially the last one, it can be heard better in the mv teaser and i love it so so much sjdhsjdhsj anyways what a fantastic comeback. imo txt are on a perfect streak musically, conceptually, visually and i always look forward to their releases. thanks for the reaction pd!!

TXT are the future of the kpop

This was the reaction I've been waiting for since your return. I think they absolutely killed this concept. A lot of people dislike it because they're tired of the "emo" stuff, but GBGB is very different than loser lover and I know I love you. Yes it still is dark, but this is pure anger in this song, not just sadness. And as you said, this song is very hype and exciting. I get why people might not like it, especially since their previous songs (Crown, blue hour, 9 and three quarters) had a bright and captivating charm to them, but they pull off these concepts just as well. I'm just excited to see where they go from here. I feel like GBGB would be a great end to this "emo trilogy" but I don't know what sound/concept they would gravitate towards next. Either way I'm in love with this comeback and I can't wait for your listening party, i think these b-sides are their best by far, so I'd love to hear your opinion on them as well.

TXT fills the void left in me from the time where I was really into Japanese visual Kei bands. That intensity of music + visuals that just comes in like 💥🥊

I was honestly scared when the individual concept photos and teasers were dropped. I usually get so excited when I hear the rock sound of the song, but idk for some reasons they weren't enough for me to be as enthusiastic unlike their past comebacks. Probably because I got too excited with 0x1 lovesong since they were really hyping it up and considering it better than Run Away (which is btw still a queen). But then they dropped the official teaser and Taehyun's vocals just blew me away all over again and that pretty much solidified that this is gonna be another banger. And yes they really never disappoint. This song was like a combination of Can't You See Me and 0x1=Lovesong and it's definitely up there. I really like the final chorus of this one and I think it's one if not the best final chorus they have. Like the transition from Yeonjun's rap, to "I like being bad", and then the beat comes and the attack, the dynamics, the instrumentals, everything was just so good. They've really established their unique sound in the K-pop industry and I can't wait to see where they'll bring us with this sound. The b-sides for this album are amazing as well. Thursday Child Has Far To Go is definitely up there with Good Boy Gone Bad, but Opening Sequence. That song is just so damn good. It's probably my favorite song among the five in this ep. I mean Soobin's first verse is already a killer, then it escalates to a strong chorus. The choreographies are fantastic as well. Woah, I really said a lot, but yes they had to be said.

Good Boy Gone Bad is definitely my favorite TXT song so far. All of their recent emo/rock vibe stuff is sooo my thing, so I really hope that they will stick with this style. They just released a Choreography version of the official MV, which is worth checking out too.

I think "I Know I Love You" is still my favorite TXT song. That song just makes me feel things and I never get tired of listening to it. Plus Taehyuns raspy prechorus is jaw dropping. It also speaks to me little emo heart since I grew up listening to Linkin Park and MCR.

This is the first song of TXT that I listen to, and as an older k-pop fan, I can't avoid thinking in my mind that they're sort of TVXQ's spiritual successors. This is literally a song that TVXQ's OT5 would have released if they had continued now. Amazing stuff.

This was the first time I stayed up for a comeback because some friends wanted to stay up late xD. Worse decision ever cause I was sooo tired I hated the song until I listened to it two days later when I was rested. So yeah, jajaj but in the end I loved it so much. I admit I wasn't sure about the bad boy look when the teasers came out but the fact that it had a sinister/joker(?) type side to it really made it stand out to me. the pre chorus reminded me of a siren drawing in their prey because of how beautiful yet creepy it sounded. out of the dark trilogy (love the name btw) lovesong will ALWAYS be special to me. I listen to it the least these days but every time I do, I am reminded that it is one of the best kpop songs of all time. loser lover was my favorite for a while as well. Your explanation of how you fell into TXT is very much resonating with me. I thought I'd stopped at Seventeen when it came to stanning groups but I fell into TXT through Blue Hour, watched ALL their To Do episodes in like a week, and found myself falling for them because of their genuine personalities both on and off screen. It's really something to have such unique music, magnetic personalities, and overall just SOLID skills (like in varieties, performances, etc) I hope they don't go down the path of pandering to certain audiences and changing their music in a direction that is more mainstream.

The b-sides are ✨gorgeous✨ to the ears. My personal favorites being 'Opening Sequence' and 'Lonely Boy'.

To relate with his point about them going mad well. I totally dig their concepts and music lately cuz I can totally relate. Just a short sharing if anyone doesnt mind, but 2 years ago, I found out through eavesdropping in the car with friends going home from a party that all this time, my bf at that time had multiple s*xual affairs behind my back. I was wrecked and totally heartbroken. It was painful because I thought we were alright and I loved and trusted him but I was betrayed. I immediately cut off contact with him in offline and online means. Another thing was that I kept quiet about this situation with my friends and family, but I was slowly going insane. And I still am hurting and going mad whenever I recall it. But TXT helped me express myself out again by singing and crying altogether as I listen to ALL their songs ranging from Cant You See Me, to I Know I Love You, Loser=Lover to Good Boy Gone Bad. Its so crazy how they can comfort so many people with such songs. I am forever a big fan of them as well. I love their dark concepts a lot. Top 5: 1. I Know I Love You 2. Good Boy Gone Bad 3.
