Verivery kills every concept that they do. Every title track of theirs is different from the last and I love it soooo muchhh because you can never expect what's coming. I hope they continue working with Digipedi too because I love how cinematic their MVs are. That combined with their crazily synchronized dancing and beautiful vocals; it's the perfect recipe to become big.

But cinematic mvs are more interesting to me oftentimes. Jellyfish is the best

Being a dancer myself, I love having mv’s that show off the choreo but I also really love being able to escape into a mv like this and try to imagine the new world and storyline they’ve created. (Also I’m really biased to VRVR so that helps too lol)

Verivery is such a synchronized group I loveeeee

the fact that veriverys mvs are cinematic are what really pull me in. for me it helps give the song more meaning and its sticks more because i have such great visuals to match with

the individual solo shots you can see more of in their solo teasers!! i think vrvr has done a really good job on this cb considering the time they had following rtk (literally they spoiled their cb on rtk and used mnet for that promo LMAO). i've come to like thunder and appreciate it a lot and i sincerely hope they do well because they only keep improving more and more. also funny how lay back is THAT good of a song

One of the things that made me stick with kpop through the years is the stories that goes on along with the musics and in the mvs. I just love it so much when a whole universe starts to be created around a group.

The amount of appreciation towards all the rtk groups after the show is kinda amazing, although that show was traumatizing, it was really worth it, and as someone who has been standing verivery since predebut, it's amazing to see how much they've grown. Thunder was a great comeback for right after the show, and the amount of attention they got this comeback makes me REALLY proud to see, can't wait for the last installment of the trilogy!!!

Though, these more cinematic MVs really show off the members' acting skills; they've improved a lot from Super Special and Ring Ring Ring. ☺️ P.S. Verivery could become the new kings of concepts, this mv is easily one the best ones this year, and everytime i listen to the song it gets better

At first, I wasn't really into the song, but after seeing a few performances ended in my playlist. Combined with the MV is such an awesome title track.

And that’s on verivery being synchonized dancers with strong vocals and uniqueness fitting into their voice well plus the fact that they haven’t had any bad songs yet from their debut album up to this era, their songs either make you pumped up of nostalgic plus their sounds are very fresh which makes their music addicting 💜🤍 (it’s a bonus that they create their own twist with their diy mv’s with minchan’s editing)

This song is AMAZING, definitely one of my favorites from 2020. Idk why I loved the blue-toned solo shots with the lightning I thought they added to the intensity of the video

ahhhh i really like how ppl react how dfferent jellyfish artist is . am a jellyfish trash . i really love the company bcause they really bring out the vocal n not really focus to the mainstream music and hve the artistic value on the song and mv (except tht they dont give cb to our girl gugudan) . and i love smething unique. all 3 of the group is unique on its own .

Finally VERIVERY

Okay so I’m going to try to summarize how I think the story has gone so far all the way back with TTT TTT relates to Lay Back as in TTT we are introduced simply to the idea of the doubles. They just are in the world yet or at least lack a physical form. We see this through the camera tricks, shadow, and other horror elements but I think it stands out the most with the mirror effect Hoyoung has were his double is looking at him through the mirror while the irl Hoyoung is looking for the seeker. Leaving the house they clearly brought whatever was their will them back to I guess the city and we can assume Kangmin has been taken or is at least aware of the doubles and will be taken in Lay back Layback continues with the idea the doubles have taken a physical form and now they have the form they need to learn how to basically copy that which they took. By mirroring the dance the doubles are learning and again, established in TTT mirrors must have something to do with their crossing over hence the use of mirrors again. In the end of Lay Back is when Kangmin disappears, we can assume probably the doubles have done something which is why everything is going all over the place. Also before I try to summarize this MV in terms of connections something to note is the use of the old TV. In TTT Yeonho finds it and it have clips of them walking into the abandoned house, it was also used in Lay Back, and once again we get this old TV playing so I’m assuming there is at least some connection it has with the story I have yet to pin down. Oops came back to edit more. Photo’s MV also we can have some perhaps understanding as the TV appears there as well. Like what it is like for Kangmin alone in this other worldly setting as well as general creepy factors that pay into this idea of the doubles. So Thunder picks up with Kangmin being taken within the warehouse, a central point in Lay back. We have the members trying to relay back all the information and what I assume we get from Lay Back is alternate world of some sort which is messing with things causes the issues with the lightening we keep seeing (also related to spoilers from the new trailer). In Thunder we can also see them running through grassy fields- back at the old house from TTT.... Now some other ideas. In the end of layback we see Kangmin standing alone in the warehouse with the spotlight after all his other version disappeared, the members running in could tie to that too. Like something with time is all weird which is why we keep having ideas that are repeating. We also have the electrical surge which when Minchan was running in Layback might have something to do with that aspect? They are different kinds of explosions tho but nevertheless have some minor connections. This is just my very basic rundown too,,, at least of everything I can connect right now....

definitely agree with what u said abt the warehouse like yes its cheap but digipedi doesnt make it seem that way bc they incorporate it into the story like its not just some random place the boys dance in it actually has significance to the mv

tbh, cinematic MVs are a big reason why I got into Kpop int he first place. They were so different from western MVs, had so much more meat to them. Even though you were barely in that world for three or four minutes, they had a way of sticking with you and making you think about them long after the video was over. Most MVs that have come out within the last 2 years or so just don't have that cinematic wow factor, and I've found myself incredibly bored with Kpop as a whole as a result, which is something I thought I'd never say. This is probably the reason why ONF and VeriVery are the only two of the newer boy groups that have consistently managed to hold my interest since their debuts, because they don't strictly follow trends, they either put their own spin on them or just do their own thing, and it's such a breath of fresh air to me.

It's because verivery doesn't have the conventional structure that it feels SO kpop-y for me. I also miss MVs with stories, like BAP? They were insane, I loved so much. I love lay back, I heard it before I watched it, it's such a good song. I feel like the mirror world guys are going from reality or verse of the universe to verse, or calling them to other world's to get rid of them. Like the guy in lay back that had MANY clones, his scene starts with one version and when everyone desappears is another one who stays.

It reminds me so much of gogobebe in rtk. From the nananana at the start and ella ella ella ella in gogobebe. The posters of wanted and missing to the final shot when they sit down reminds of when they ended gogobebe on the carpet. Am i crazy or is it just me?

7:55 i highly dissagree kpop fans ditch cinematic mv its quite the contrary many groups and artists today have their own universe because it's a strategy who can atract more fan.i think you can say the developement of kpop around theworld can also be lnked to these shared universe mvs so its wouldn't make sense for labels to get back just choreo and beautiful set (athough its still a good formal who works) .
