I love it when you have a choice of games. Choose yourself which is best for your group. It would be nice if Tom showed them all,

The only one of these games I've tried was the solitaire one - normally I don't prefer solo games, bt I really liked the challenge offered by this one. It plays quickly and is, as Tom said, lovely.

Great review etc etc. But, why do you think the lady was behind the door? Do you think the princess was happy to see him go off with another, or did her jealousy have a very “if I can’t have him no one can” feel to it. I am in the Pro Tiger camp, but I would love to hear an argument for the Lady.

Got the mini cards-only version with another Jellybean purchase. I guess I'll have to get some tokens together to try this out.

The review doesn't show the obvious comparison of the 'Favor' game's auction mechanism to both Ra and Dream Factory (guessing the developers are Knizia fans). I was initially like 'it's a straight rip-off' but they do manage to make it unique enough by the fact they did a combination, and by the 'hidden role', as well as the change in money distribution from dream factory (where only you get all the money if you called the auction and lost).

Are all those cards linen or woven or whatever (I don't know what to call it)? I thought I caught a flash of weave in the construction of one of them, but not sure. I wouldnt buy this if the cards are cheap cardstock. Dunno why that's a breaking point for me but it is.

Daniel Robinson It's called a Linen Finish. I don't know know from watching the video if it has a linen finish but it looked smooth and shiny.
