I wish this had the V6 like the GX. Also I prefer this interior dash over the GX. I can't stand when everything is controlled from a touch screen. If the touch screen breaks in a few years you can't use the heating or A/C anymore.

I still think it’s a bit odd that it doesn’t tow more. It weighs a lot less and is very close to the GX in terms of hp and torque. My only thought is that it has to do with the LC figures being combined rather than just engine

For MY 2025 or later, Toyota could give the Land Cruiser 250 a 3-row extended wheelbase variant as well as the following trims for both in place of the 1958 and LC ones being used by the SWB LC250 for the 2024 MY: * SR5 * Heritage (replaces both 1958 and LC combined) * TRD Pro * Trailhunter * GR That will mean most of the trims for the larger albeit unnecessary Sequoia including the Capstone trim will be dropped with the exception of the Premium and TRD Pro trims.

I can’t find any options online for the premium on the 1958 option. This would essentially be the base land cruiser trim but with round headlights and no roof rack

7.9 0-60? thats gotta be extremely off. the stock 2.4 liter non hybrid tacoma does 0-60 in 7.3. someone needs to do an accurate test of its 0-60 or else this whole hybrid motor doesnt make sense.

Theres no way a N/A 2.4 tacoma does 0-60 in 7.9 seconds plus this LC prado id heavier. The 2.8l diesel does in 10 seconds

@@ryannajam8757 who said anything about naturally aspirated? i said non hybrid new 2.4L tacoma did it in 7.3 seconds. To see this type in ACCELER8 and he did a 0-60 in the new tacoma “non hybrid” and it did it in 7.3 seconds. now maybe this was downhill or maybe the device he used wasnt working properly but id expect a much better time with all the torque that the hybrid motor adds

@@mikeslifeandfitness still this LC prado is heavier plus it makes about 350ish HP. So thats alright considering the weight. Plus a land cruiser isnt meant for going fast. It has pretty reasonable performance

@@TNTahir because its the actual successor of the LC200. This new one with the hybrid doesn't look like a Land Cruiser, it looks like a Prado. LC300 looks like the LC200 but upgraded

It's not a land cruiser. It's land cruiser prado or lexus gx. New land cruiser on America market is a lexus lx.

@@JStryker7 Still, calling this a Land Cruiser is grossly misleading, omitting the "Prado" part automatically suggests that it is not the smaller version, hence not the car shown in the video.

@@TheMonsterOfTheDeep not really. The 250 and 300 are incredibly similar underneath. Unlike many past Prados, the new 250 shares a chassis with the 300 that is only slightly modified
