I think Aemond is a tragic anti-hero without having seen TLK first. Now, after World on fire (funny street smart dude) and High Life (a true villain), I know Ewan has an impressive acting range and will be watching TLK and The Halcyon.

I love Ewan's voice and body language when he portrayed Osferth. He was soft spoken and gentle, and his mannerisms are so endearing. I love when he called Eadith "you're an angel" and the "I'm a virgin in that" was hilarious. He's so cute too!

Osferth had one of the biggest character developments. Going from a timid young lad to a fearless warrior. I cried when he was killed off.

BABY MONKKKK 💚💚 Ewan has such an immense talent to play both such a shy and timid character and a charismatic one like Aemond. Our baby monk died honourably so he could rise again as a dragon 🐉🐲

Omg! Ewan is so versatile. Seen him being a sassy guy in WOF and an innocent baby here in TLK. Now he’s a Targaryen and a super villain in HOTD. If he keeps doing this pretty sure he will be well recognized to the acting community and hopefully win an oscars/emmys. ❤

And now my man lost an eye and rides a dragon. I honestly didn't recognise the actor. He's so adorable as the baby monk, but as the prince (he's a legitimate Targaryen in House or The Dragon) he's damn badass.

He truly deserved his own video. He was such a part of the show but in a different way than Finan and the other warriors. I feel like he was the heart or moral character of Uhtred's group. Or at least the one who represented kindness and innocence in a way. I always forgot he was Alfred's bastard, but I like that he didn't try to covet the throne.

@@praneeth_A If you mean the Last Kingdom it is a great show, and all the seasons are out so you can binge the entire thing. If you meant House of the Dragon, it is a good prequel show to GoT, the first season is about as good as the first 4 seasons of GoT, but you will have to wait for the rest of the seasons because it just finished.

@@praneeth_A it is a VERY great show (The Last Kingdom). There are no garbage scenes. Every scene moves the plot. Watch out for King Alfred, youll fall in love with him. And well, baby Monk. But there are so many characters ypi will sympathize with and root for.

He's really good. I didn't even realize it was the same actor till after I had seen both. It should have been obvious as he has very distinct features. Alfred and him really turned my head with their acting performances

Osferth was many things, but a coward he certainly was not. Every warrior fears death but it is how they die and what they die for that gives them honor. Osferth died in battle to protect his friends, there is not a more honorable death than that.

Wow. Well said. I will always remember Osferth and the amazing performance of Ewan Mitchell. After TLK, I looked for more of his work. I highly recommend World on fire & High Life. The minute after I saw him in HOTD I knew Aemond's character was worth watching. Ewan is very intelligent at choosing his characters. Can't wait for season 2. What a versatile actor. What a range!

so glad to see you back on the Last Kingdom Zurik, it surely deserves a Vikings style tribute now that the full series is out! simply amazing show! I can imagine why Osferth got a tribute (Aemond hehe), but all characters in this great show surely deserve one and he is no exception! can say the same for Better Call Saul, hope you get to it someday :) keep up the amazing work!

The only complaint I had for Osferth's character was omitting his leap from the battlements during the battle of Lundene. Single greatest moment of courage by any character in the series, and I wish that I could have seen it on screen.

The show is good. The story is alright. What makes the show good or really good on how you see it; is all because of the cast. The cast are great, all of them, from main cast to the supporting and side cast. I fucking love every single cast.

When osferth wasnt in the montage uhtred had as he stood on the wall of bebbamburgh i lost it! I didnt get why he was killed off in the show when in the books he lives way past that point. I looked at filming timelines for the two shows, possible he had to be written off TLK for going to house of dragons?
