Yeah he had some good moments but ruined others by portraying sort of a manic steve buscemi type of character. With some good direction and acting classes he could drastically improve.

I don't think she's not into it, she's just not a very good actor so her dialogue is very wooden and awkward. The same goes for the Joel actor although he is slightly better.

Right? She doesnt deliver her lines good. And i feel like they could have chosen someone less macho looking with the face.

I agree with you entirely. While I admire the attempt to enhance the 'lore' of the game with the infected at the end I just didn't feel it was in line with the game. I was impressed with Joel's acting 'chops' but Ellie came across as kind of muted and she didn't appear immersed in her world like the original character was. I applaud anyone who attempts to act, and Bill was freakin' spot on if you ask me, but Ellie's actress just didn't put herself into the role fully and it showed. Marlene -is that the queen firefly's name?- did a good job with her lines and delivery was 7/10. The effects were decent for a low-budget/no-budget feature-length fan film and they were pretty good at disguising the fact that they pretty much used the same building/area for 90% of the film! Lol.

yea man Bill should be in actual movies, that guy can goddamn act. This is a good piece to have on his resume at least.

agreed, she looks like a 17-18 year old playing a 14 year old. Ellie still had innocence and struggled with fighting through the world. This girl didn't show too much of that. Bad actor choice.

Josh has the texas dialekt and the sound and tone of joels voice.and hugh is muscular but if you look at josh in oldboy,his body right before he gets out. Its joel. Shorter beard and with a woolshirt. And noooo to ellen page. No no no . Just no.it should be a hungry and eager young actress in similar age. Why?? Because ellie is a importatnt role to play right,if you are a established actor u can afford to loose a part my not giving your max.but a new actress is better because she has everything to loose,if the perormance isnt good and believable it wont be any more roles for her. And bill,,,bill,bill,bill. Why not original actor for bill. W,earl brown should reprise it. He knows the tone,lines and the special posture that bill has. We want a natural look to characters,not a makeupped look. Troy and ashley did a amazing job,but the look nothing like joel and ellie. And audience is not stupid or dumb. Real lookalaike actors . Yes hugh jackman would be perfekt if it wasnt for voice and accent. I love him as a actor. He is extremely talented and delivers spot on everytime. But think about it ,josh :) josh dude. Just saying. He sounds exactly like joel. Shut your eyes and put on no country for old men. Listen to the scene when he wants to buy new boots ,or in the start scene in the beginning of the movie.

Hi Jay, there were three TLoU fan films that we made - Iron Horse Cinema. Our friend Jeremy spliced them together to make them into a feature. The actor who played Bill is - Gary Marachek. He did a fantastic job. This is Jeff from Iron Horse Cinema. I played Joel. We had a ton of fun making these. ;)
