Honestly I had my doubts going into this game because of what everybody said but in my opinion this wasn’t a bad game to me. The only things that really lacked for me was Joel’s character, and the ending felt anticlimactic to me.

Gah, the whole game is so damn heart breaking. My recurring thought the whole way through was that I just want our gal to get a rest! This theme fits well - Ellie just gets beaten and beaten and beaten. Morally, by having to kill to survive, and physically. Similarly to how I've seen war described.

This is actually really good. The separation between CGI and in-game cinematics was a bit harsh seeing the drop in quality, but you can’t control that and it’s fine. Nonetheless it was an amazing piece of editing. Naughty Dog should have you hired!
