pile 4… this pile called to me from the thumbnail and, after hearing the reading, i was not surprised it did. i recently left a place where i was seeing this person every day. it was kind of clear she liked me then but both of us are introverts and guarded people. that, and the additional barrier in the fact that it would have been a “forbidden romance” (camper x counselor.. the age gap is not jail dw 💀) kinda prevented anything from happening. our last meeting was in a bit of a strange circumstance cs i didn’t get to say goodbye to her before i left. it was an overnight program so she had to do airport transfers all day and didn’t get back before i had to go. i ended up going back to camp because i “forgot my airpods” that night and we talked for a while then in the lobby of the place. she thought i was still there for another week and when she found out i wasn’t she hugged me for over a minute with her arms around my waist in a way where i thought she would kiss me then but she didn’t. her demeanor changed cs her boss walked in and she waved bye normally before i left. we’ve been dming on insta since then but she takes forever to respond so i’m always worried she’s not interested anymore or ghosting me before she finally responds (‘: it makes sense a lot with the reserved energy and the protected softness. her missing me until she sees me again hurts for me.. we live in different countries so her seeing me before next summer is very unlikely. also, the parentification absolutely fits. we’ve both actually been working at camps for a long time so she told me about feeling this way. in this circumstance, she was expected to take care of me like that despite her seeing me as a friend or something more than that. the seriousness too… this might not be related but she texts me weirdly. she says things that show she cares about me but only responds once every 2-3 days and she types with no emojis and full grammar 😭 the are you ready? is also painfully accurate given that she is older than me and our relationship would be long distance for at least a year (i’m not someone who minds commitment at all.. the thought of being in a stable relationship with her is all i could want in that sphere of my life literally) the truth in the middle thing too for that reason. i also happen to know that she doesn’t have a proclivity for relationships so it all kind of lines up. THE POOF GONE TOO.. that was literally my thought! the rewriting the story… my girl is a writer and kinda lives in her own fantasy world. i was more upfront than she was for sure and now i definitely am being that way (affectionate, reaching out, etc) the dancing matches a specific moment too actually but we were chickens 🤠 a is her initial so perhaps it coming out first is a sign. jet makes sm sense as she is from 🇪🇸 and i am from 🇺🇸 how to rekindle… i have put myself out there so it shouldn’t be too hard. i am a pure person in that way. i don’t believe i am a fair judge of myself so i try to refrain from making either positive or negative judgements about myself. i typed that live as i was writing if it weren’t clear LMAOO thank you so much because this really did bring me clarity
