In this video we hike through the wild mountains between 4,000 and 5,000 meters just outside of Yushu town in Qinghai Province. We stumble upon as sacred Buddhist cave of relics that I thought, at first, was a pile of trash and my kids explore some of the remote places of western China.

Is there a 4x4 scene in China? It looks like a place with alot of potential for overlanding trips.

Great question! Among foreigners not so much. But local Chinese do have a few 4x4 clubs out here. We can also arrange special trips with 4x4 if people are interested.
