Look forward to seeing this finished. As a kid I loved the original wacky gold mine. Loved the clinking noise of the cars as they trundled around in the dark and the animated figures inside. I may have to travel back to Barry once this is open to rekindle some childhood memories.

This is an insane amount of progress mate!!! The excitement is unreal for the wacky gold mine now! A lot have progress has been made since yesterday I went down with the dog for a walk in the afternoon and those doors weren't up when I was there I'll let you know how cold it is on Aerospace when I get back on it if its open on sunday. We often got ice and frost like that during winter back in the day. Now it's freak weather if we get it. Nice to see Henry as always full of enthusiasm.

henry is an amazing man he is the only reason i’ve went to wales for his amazing fair he’s done so well for barry island. when i went the 2nd time i found out my nana and gramp had there honey moon at barry island what a coincidence great vlog! 😊

Excellent update always a enjoyable watch. Every credit to Henry & Mark and the other workers with the Gold Mine it’s already looking superb. Always remember the Gold Mine in Frontierland in Morecambe growing up very good ride.

Can’t believe how the docks have changed I used to cut up from Plymouth rd at my house to Clive rd and down past the Carringtons oil tanks walk all the way thru and under the bridge and on up to school at the top seemed like a long way there and back each day but there was always something going on at the time late 50s I prefer to remember the area the way it was and your walks show just how different thing are now Always love to see the fairground as I worked there so many seasons And of course the beach where I used to scratch for coins etc Another great video Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and yours and everyone else who are supporting your vlog

Mr Dudgie, the Gold Mine looks mega, and it is amazing that they put it together without any instructions. I'm really looking forward to Friday and sat outside Brewers Fayres having a drink and looking out over where you are at the start of the vid.
