Really sorry if this is too much of a long shot but thought I’d ask anyway… do you remember if the xvs650 air filter dog bowl was so big for a reason? I have convinced myself it’s because they use the 1100 one hence why it has so much empty space inside? 🧐 soz again if it’s too random but hoped you may be able to shed light on this? Big? I think it's tiny compared to the Intruder 800cc one.... It'll be looks and cost...

I agree it’s smaller than your intruders but I prefer to see more engine n less filter 👍 I’m surprised there aren’t any vids of people swapping xvs650 one for a smaller alternative, that’s what was making think maybe there’s more to it than looks etc… thanks so much for your reply n great videos 👍👍

@@penguinproductions7014 I like the air filter box, but taking it off, as well as the airbox, and dropping a K&N filter on the carbs is possible... would hide them under the tank, so maintenance would be (for your service mechanics) would be a pain...
