"You all think by default that the EU should regulate the issue of immigration - cases when someone comes from a third country to the EU. But in my country they really like to turn everything upside down. Latvian lawmakers have found a way to force large groups of permanent residents of Latvia to leave the country", - with such words our MEP Tatjana ŽDANOKA was forced to address her colleagues today, who are adopting a new package of documents on migration to the EU. She reminded the deputies of the problem of Russian citizens in Latvia and also told them about the new New Unity initiative to revoke the citizenship of naturalised citizens.
