It's crazy that, in the span of about 6 months I saw these guys play a pub in Ballarat to like 30 people, then in an arena opening for The Strokes, and now on they're on triple j Like A Version. Hope they hit it big soon.

literally!! i saw them at play like a year or 2 years ago i believe at a small gig, and then I saw them play at splendour, and also saw them to open for the strokes! It’s so awesome to see how much they’ve grown within a small amount of time

Like a Version is a great way to get into some bands you haven’t heard of. Not all the covers bang it out the park but covers like this pay homage and showcase great talent. Love it

Holy moly that ending was brilliant!!! They have to performed this live. I could see them going into a really harding ending solo with the drums crashing and the bass bumping

Hahaha I love that 😍 if I can share my own misheard lyrics story, I work in a nursing home and one of the old dudes loved Celine Dion. We would belt out 'the power of love' while I was helping him shower etc. The lyric is 'A love that I could not forsake,' but we were singing 'A love that I call not for sale.' He passed away before I could tell him 😔 Then I thought of course, as if Celine would cheapen her lyrics with talk of money 🤣
