As a Boston fan I had a bad feeling about this game after the seasons performance and our inability to close. 3rd period losses, OT losses. Then I saw Beecher was out and Gryz in and my bad feeling got worse. I don't know what it is with Montgomery, he is a great coach, but makes some seriously eyebrow raising decisions at KEY times. He did the same last year against the Panthers, we were up 3-1 and then he starts doing lineup changes. We went in to the series and were told there would be goalie rotation, now it's Sway in net even though Ullmark stood on his head game two. They guy NEEDS to stop messing with things when they are working. The whole Boston team looked off tonight. I have to say I thought the officiating was rubbish, the call at the end of the First to put Toronto on the PP was incredibly poor but I think it goes for any team in the league to win the cup you not only have to beat the opposing team but the zebras too, have seen some horrendous calls across every series so far. ie. those against Rempe especially his first shift game 1, the goaltender interference calls in multiple games and multiple series the last of which bolts v cats. Just makes it all hard to watch in the regard. Anyway, GG Leafs. They deserved the win on this one, I have that feeling the momentum from this game as well as the Boston 3-1 lead/game 5 loss repeat will give them a win in game 6 and it will be a game 7 in Boston with Toronto full of life and Boston full of anxiety.

Watching the game as a bruins fan was infuriating. They played with little to no urgency and the amount of times the whiffed of the puck or failed to clear it was crazy. Montgomery needs to change something fast because relying on swayman is not a reliable strategy

First half was all Leafs we only stood because of Swayman. Rest of the game was kinda guided by terrible officiating. It was frustrating to watch so many missed calls which were called against us before. But that happens. Bruins have to be stronger in the offense next game and Pasta needs to step up.
