OLD Leather Smith here, nice job as always Chuck.. Suggestion, I have been doing this a loooong time. I use washers instead of corner chisels, less expensive 4 the beginners & U place your finger in the hole so you don't cut yourself plus it works inside & outside. Just some of the things I use in my shop. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️🥎🙃

Have you ever tried a dead blow hammer with your punches and chisels? It absorbs the shock wave from the strike and doesn't damage the tools. Love the shop tricks...keep them coming.

Chuck, I wish you could come up with an easy way to groove a round end of the leather. No matter how hard I try, it just doesn’t come out good.
