I mean... if it was Matt fucking Mercer.... Actually, didn't Marisha's and almost every other party member get killed in one of the first games she played with Matt? Eaten by ghouls? (mentioned on some episode of Talks or another, can't recall when) Real answer obviously being this is why you talk to your DM/players about expectations around death risk and so on. Different people like different play styles, yada yada.

I mean if you're the sole surviver and comeback to find that was your session zero and some backstory/motivation for your character i'd come back

@@VisuallyMediocre This was a joke script. That's the reason all but Vax died in a comedic way. It says in the title what it is about. That's all it was, a joke the cast made like there April Fools Vox Machina Story. There was no reason for a recap because of that. They were at comicon and at there panel said there were going to give a preview of the series, but gave this fake one instead. The first comment you made just didn't make sense for me as it was a weird thing to say about a joke script. I thought you took it seriously and was mad because you were cursing.

Let's be honest... There were a lot of corny and even cringey moments in the first campaign. That's what made it honest and pure.
