I would like to begin by stating that I have lost all respect for Wilbur after becoming aware of what he’s done. I no longer support him AT ALL. After lots of reflection I have decided to keep this video up on my channel for the sole reason that I don’t want months of my work to disappear. This decision is for me, not him. I hope you understand. I send all of my support to Shelby and Alice, and hope the response from the community will bring them a brighter future.

The Wilbur Soot ARG is probably one of the best community based event I've ever seen in my life. The story was/is tough, but not too tough to lose interest. Wilbur just has that cryptic vibe that makes you need to know the whole story.

The only undoubtable thing he has is ability to know the audience, what videos will they like and what will come popular. I guess its a talent but not a one to compare with others of this list. I've been waiting for so long to see another one of these monster compilations about someone. I've seen the Legends of Philza and Technoblade told, but Wilburs was far worth the wait for. All three are people who can captivate an audience, but Wilbur seems to know how to tell a story for months on end better than anyone I'd ever heard of. From his ARG's to the Dream SMP, he's someone that can hold the attention of his audience with ease, and keep it until he draws the curtains close. He's truly an amazing creator, both on KZfaq and on Twitch, and I am so glad you decided to give us a small glimpse into his amazing journey and story of how he came to be one of the most captivating creators to date

There are a few videos on KZfaq that I believe should remain forever as a historical masterpiece to be remembered and rewatched for years to come but this channel consistently makes that standard. There is no other channel that I have seen do this consistently. Evan MC is the historian this community needed.

Wilbur has actually said that he made it very poorly and now having done other ARGs he knows how he would have improved it but still it is one of the hardest and mysterious ARGs of all time. Wilbur is one of the best content creators I know.

I genuinely believe that Wilbur must be one of the smartest people ever. The way he rise in a slipt second. He changed the way we see content creators. "The Legend of TommyInnit - Right Hand Man of Minecraft" He'd love this title because; It's a Hamilton reference, and Tommy always seemed to be the one who brings people together. He's been called a "Hero" and has been referred to many times but he was never the "Main Character" of the story (Dream SMP). He's like the lovable and relatable supporting character on everyones side. I genuinely love this child.

I swear seeing how far all of these different content creators have come is amazing. Specially to those who found them early on. I found Philza, Techno, Tommy, Ranboo and Wilbur all at their peak viewers growth time, so I can't really say I've watched them grow or been there from the beginning, but seeing how far they have come from what I have seen and heard about is amazing.

Didn’t mention a few minor things: Wilbur mentioned that the ARG was hard not because of how well it was made but the opposite Wilbur hasn’t played Minecraft for years at the time of the ARG and he kind of wanted jack to diversify his content Ironically enough Wilbur started playing Minecraft himself LoveJoy’s drummer was hired from fiverr

I've seen pretty much everything in this video in separate ways, from learning about Wilbur through the Dream SMP, from watching SMP live clips for a while, to watching Matpat's video on the Wilbur Soot ARG a few months ago, to really only learning about Soothouse a few weeks ago! I never realized how much I enjoyed being myself even if I'm not good at something Wilbur reminded me that it takes time and determination to get better, whenever I felt depressed I would listen to his music because I could connect to it, and in a way, it helped me through. Wilbur is truly a legend.

This video always makes me tear up, I'm a fairly long time Wilbur fan and I will never be able to express my admiration and gratitude towards him enough. I'm so proud of everything he's done despite the face the closest I've ever been to him was barrier at a Lovejoy gig. I remember watching one of Wilbur's old SMPEarth streams in twitch, and the first thing Wilbur thought when he met Tommy was; Robbing him, and manipulating him in helping the making of the bridge.

I nearly cried watching this. Wilbur was that person that helped me overcome many problems, lightening up my mood when I was sad. Now, seeing everything unfold before me again, truly is very overwhelming. Thank you to Wilbur and Evan for bringing such fond memories back to me!

found wilbur from his squid song when it was recomended to me a while back,i watched all of his growth,from the skyblock series all the way to the dsmp hell even the ylyl videos,you can see the gradual impovement in his videos and streams so happy for his growth :)

It's crazy how much effort and detail went into this video! The story of the ARG was so detailed and the MCC montage was so well done (although I did cringe when you said that 3 members of the Lime Llamas were in Hermitcraft, when in reality it was just Cub at the time, and Joel still isn't a part of it), but this was so well done.

I’ve watched content creators for years, so looking back seeing the rise and fall of many, many creators is very fun to do. First started with Stampy and DanTDM, moving to Captain Sparklez, and so on, and now it’s people like Techno, Tommy, Wilbur, etc who now have the reins. Also SMPs like HermitCraft and SciCraft and there creators are fun to watch as well.

Wilbur Soots career is one of a legend it's unexplainable really. I think you've done a great job of explaining it. It's unexplainable because of how it came to be and how it's gotten to where it is today but he has the biggest role in maybe the history of Minecraft. From pranking SMP Live to creating SMP Earth and writing most of the script for the Dream SMP. Truly legendary.
