An absolute masterpiece! Covers every food group of a great rock tune. Hooks, harmony, melody, musicianship. showmanship, lyrics, etc. Even the clothes are perfect. Sheer fkg perfection. Congrats boys! You just won the Kid Kool trophy. 🏆😎

It's one of many highlights on the album. The lads are on top form here! Thanks very much for posting this, can't wait to see them in the UK in February. Why this album isn't on any best album lists for 2018 is a travesty.

Oh my god it is definitely my favorite :) I ve seen them in Paris in March, it was awesome. They 're such amazing musicians. It was a shame that they did not play so many songs from the new album though.

When they played this on jimmy Fallon the singer was air drumming and I found it hilarious. I kept watching it to laugh at his stage antics but then I kept watching because it’s a pretty great song. Good job lemon twigs!!!

Love this and saw them live, which was a brilliant experience, never to be forgotten, but I have people telling me they [maybe not all] might have fireworks on their fingers, to use a metaphor, and I'd like to think that's not true, cos I'm a mum and I worry, I just put it down to natural ability.

One day in spring, it was gym class That was the only class Shane passed He was scaling the rope Some cool kid cracked a joke Oh man, he was mad, it was like his ears smoked And I saw Shane, and everyone was pushing him And you could really feel his pain And then before you knew it All of a sudden there were these flames A fire started in the school That took a hundred lives away Life is real tough when your parents Don't want you Life can be tough when your girlfriend Don't want you Daisy was his last hope But she thought Shane a big joke "Well we'll see who's the big joke when That school goes up in smoke!" And I saw Shane, and everyone was pushing him And you could really feel his pain And it was right then You started to see these, like, flames A fire started in the school That took a hundred lives away And oh whoa when he struck the match To make the big payback he said "Shananananananana" He thought, "We're all so wrong" And he cried alone and he went "Shananananananana" And the girl and the kids And all that his parents did, he said "Shananananananana" Ooh he thought, "We're all so wrong" And with this he'd finally have won and baby now "Shananananananana" Oh no no But it increased the pain, poor poor Shane "Shananananananana" Poor poor Shane, poor poor Shane "Shananananananana" But it increased the pain, poor poor Shane "Shananananananana" And he ran and he and he ran And he ran and he ran And he ran He increased their pain "Shananananananana" And the kids and all that his family did Just to increase the pain And then he ran away Life is can be tough when you're Life, life is so tough when no one wants you Life is real tough when just about no one at all wants you

I don't know... I miss the old days when they traded instruments. Michael was so much fun on drums & I enjoyed the way their set's broke from one to the other. The new guys are great musicians, but I'm just not feeling it. I honestly still like their first release "What We Know" the best (although they hate it.) It's a lot more experimental, psychedelic & fun to me, but that's my favorite music.
@ThisisBrownfield5 жыл бұрын
You have to see them live with this band it's insanely good. Better with two guitars.

Old band was great but I feel it must've gotten kinda messy in the long run to always trade places. And this new band is so talented.

His name is Andres Valbuena. The Twigs play the drums on their albums. He is the touring drummer. Brian and Michael are killer drummers. The fact that he can recreate those drum parts effortlessly shows how great he is. So much talent... 🍋🎶

Rhythym guitars out of tune🤔 What happened to the Jimmy Fallon version? They always remove the best shit on KZfaq. Nothings ever free.
@maxhoe5 жыл бұрын
both the rhythm guitars are also lead parts, i mean when they're both playing lead parts and solos it could become a real daunting task to keep the guitars in tune.
@ulischavez34325 жыл бұрын
@Joe Casson They're talking about "The Fire" played in Kimmel not Small Victories.
@beatlebum70574 жыл бұрын
@Joe Casson well lead guitars tend to do much more string bending and use the whammy bar which throws a guitar out of tune much faster than just strumming chords. I think that was his point.
