Actually, Einstein didn't write that letter. Leó Szilárd wrote it with the help of two fellow hungarian scientists and sent to Einstein to sign it, because he was the biggest name in physics that time.

I live next to one of the reservations where they built nuclear reactors to manufacturer the materials needed to make the atomic bombs. It's crazy to imagine that the only reason my city exists is because the government decided to do a super secret project that required the people working on it to live apart from the rest of the world. Well, something has to stop Japan because they are crazily butchering neighboring countries here in Asia. It says they will never surrender because of their warrior way until they were nuked. Our country benefited with the war ending. It’s still scary to think that such weapon of mass destruction exists and owned by almost all powerful countries, that anytime one country can be nuked if there’s one mad dictator who will be in power.

Hoover had his fingers in so many key issues in 20th century America. From what I've read, I'm not sure he was a net positive or negative. Certainly, he had too much power.

Geoffrey Rush should have been the actor for Einstein in Oppenheimer. It would have suited better as this is Einstein's program that shows his background, and the film Oppenheimer shows his background, therefore creating a well constructed piece that conjoin together, creating the greatest masterpiece of this century. Don't get me wrong, Oppenheimer is a masterpiece, but this small detail in actor choice would have created an even better piece.

Absolutely. two Geniuses in one frame...I also felt the quite opposite with Werner Heisenberg..the Oppenheimer actor should have played the role in the series as well
