Great video, but there were a few characters you missed: In Equestria Girls, there are two male characters, Curly Winds and Wiz Kid, who are in a cannon relationship. Also, Scootaloo’s aunts, Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty, are a cannon lesbian couple. The crew of the show also confirmed that King Sombra and Sunset Shimmer are meant to be bisexual. There’s also more LGBT characters in the comics but I know many people don’t view them as cannon.

On one hand, I want to make a note about your Rarity point. Unless they are ponies who travelled to the EQG world, they are not the same people as their EQG counterparts. Like, yeah duh, the Rarity and Applejack in Equestria are at most a decade older than their EQG counterparts. But still. The Rarity that is shown to have relationships with both her Applejack and the genderswapped Applejack sure as hell isn't the same person as the Rarity we know in the main show. But on the other hand, while we never get any actual showcase of mainline Rarity being on the LGBT spectrum in the show, I did have a discussion about this when I used to use Twitter with someone who happened to be lesbian. Despite how Rarity is boy crazy in the show, from Blueblood to Trenderhoof to miscellaneous stallions she flirts with to get her way (Don't even get me started on her one-sided relationship with Spike.), that person I spoke to pointed out that in the cases of some lesbians, they may go through a phase of being boy crazy before they begin to understand themselves more. That is to say, Rarity could be interpreted as a non-hetero just going through a phase in her young adulthood. Though she could be somewhere else on the spectrum. If we are going to go off of The Last Problem, Rarity is never shown to have a romantic partner in that episode. Even as a Twirity shipper, this *could* be interpreted as Rarity either moving away from the need or desire for romantic or sexual relations, or perhaps that she realized that she was somewhere on the aroace spectrum. I dunno. Food for thought.

I'll be honest, As a bisexual man i've seen so many of these LGBTA+ characters relegated to a five second background role to the point where it's a little insulting. If that's all someone is gonna do with them, then i'd rather not have them at all. And the story doesn't have to be about their identity at all, they can just... be a person. Now call my bluff, but I have a feeling Rarijack was originally planned for Friendship is Magic at some point. It seems kind of implied they had a strong yet also kinda shaky friendship episodes like Season 1 Episode 8: Look Before You Sleep, and not to mention they seemed to paired up quite a lot for adventures and whatnot. Now when they started to push the whole Appledash dynamic it kind of took a backseat, which is leading me to believe that it's possible when Equestria Girls began production that perhaps the team thought they could have Appledash be canon in FiM, and Rarijack be canon in EQG. After all, in a lot of Equestria Girls following the releases of the movies and specials it was pretty common seeing Rarity and Applejack together rather than Applejack and Rainbow Dash. And Rollercoaster of Friendship, what's more for me to comment on? That entire special was literally a gigantic Rarijack dedication lol. Is it the most plausible and believable theory? Not exactly, and I admit it's a little shaky, but at least to me it makes some sense if that was the plan at some point.

Gay ponies- one more example you'll see quite a few times is actually in the series when the main six are humanoid pony things. There's a gay couple you'll see in the background a lot- one with a bowl cut and beige and the other dude has curly hair and is blue. Otherwise, I can't think of any other examples.
