@@CoolClassics. 👍Wow. So glad I found your channel. Superb work! P. S.: 10:40 No such word as “ heigTH”. The word is spelled and pronounced HEIGHT and rhymes with WHITE. I was surprised to hear you mispronounce it as I have heard a few people do because they are no reading it correctly (switching the ght at the end to gth. Maybe because of the ending of its counter word WIDTH??? Great job otherwise. 🤷🏼‍♀️👍

My favorite scene of all-time in Get Smart: 99 is going on a dangerous mission and Max says, "Be careful, and I just want you to know that I love you, Ernestine." 99 replies, "Oh Max, that's the first time you've called me Ernestine. If only that was my name!" What a woman!

My favorite Get smart is where Max’s uncle, after being hit with every defensive machine Max has, Max asks him to go upstairs. Uncle s😮ays, “why not, we’ve been in all the rides down here!“ Meanwhile 99 is mopping, washing windows in full fancy dress, pretending to be the maid. Classic!

Dear Sheryl Z: Truth be told, there were MANY Ladies before her too who had looks, brains, and a great voice, but they never got their own opportunity because they were women. Didn't you hear that she was was the 1st working woman to be portrayed in a TV sitcom, and that she was the 1st to be portrayed as being smarter than the male lead ?? Before her many female comedians were portrayed as AirHeads like Lucille Ball in I Love Lucy, or Gracie Allen of Burns & Allen. Google "Marilyn Monroe Quotes" and see what a mind MM had, although NO One bothered to see her as more than a mere sex object. There were MANY Equally Qualified female actors before Barbara Feldon. What a Shame that they weren't able to show it in those Culturally Neanderthal Times. This lady should be remembered for breaking many social taboos about women in the Entertainment World. I'm sure that she took a lot of heat for it too from the Sexist Pigs back then.

Years ago, I worked as a cook at a short-order restaurant (similar to Denny's or IHOP). The cook station was slightly open to the front of the restaurant, cooks could see customers and vice-verse. We had lots of "codes" we used to inform, etc. "86" meant "toss that". "99" meant "hot chick:". The waitresses were awesome at alerting us guys to check out the front door! Barbara Feldon was-- and remains-- an icon of sophistication, beauty and sexiness.

My brother in law stayed in the hotel where she lived in NYC and once shared a lift with her. They talked and he always said she was the most strikingly beautiful older woman he had ever seen. Barbara Feldon was in a movie from 1975 called "Smile", a satirical comedy about a teenage beauty pageant. One of my all time favorite movies. In one scene she has an argument with her husband and he angrily breaks a large ceramic dog sitting by the fireplace and storms out. She picks up the broken pieces, cradles them in her arms as she sobs and says softly "Oh poor thing", as if it was a real animal. Told a lot about the personality of the character she played.

This is a wonderful blast from the past for me. I only watched Get Smart occasionally back then, but it was because of Barbara. I grew up not far from Bethel Park, in the city of Mckeesport, so I've been there many times. Barbara's 20 years older than me, it's nice knowing that she's still here !

She asked me directions when I was walking to work one early-morning in Beverly Hills. This was in 1990. She still looked good and was wearing a fur coat. The interaction didn't last more than 30 seconds, but I was thinking real hard what I could say to address her celebrity, but I was I couldn't think of anything off the cuff. I simply gave her directions and she thanked me. The streets were practically empty and we were the only two ones walking around at that moment.

I've gotten to know Ms.Feldon within the last 10 years and she is, in a word, wonderful. Private, but totally approachable. She speaks more authoritatively on current news, media history or politics then anyone I've ever met. Most impressive, she isn't living in decades past but is so well read she can intelligently speak on whats important to all of us in these challenging times. I'm am not a friend of Barbara's but the times Ive seen or spoken to her so impressed me I thought it would not betray her privacy if I let people that want to know about her that Ms. Feldon in 2021 is a beautiful, still energetic, curious woman. If you are lucky to talk with her for even 5 minutes you'd see woman that had a fantastic past- but lives in the present and we all should wish her many, many happy years ahead!

I have similar experience with other actors and musicians, ie that I may know them through being a colleague of theirs or a friend or I frequent similar places like a pharmacy so often that we would chat. When I hear You Tubes that are incorrect about someone I try to tell the truth about that actor or band, often to defend them or explain a situation. Usually Im met with that correction by someone insisting they are right and denouncing me..but if Im describing a nice memory, the fans of that band/singer or actor sometimes give a like or share their own memories! Ive never met Barbra but was impressed with the Man from Uncle episode she did as I bought that season of DVD.

Mine was only 4' 10" tall, and under 100 pounds. I fell for her in the seventh grade, and we were planning to get married after my time in the Army but her 'Karen' of a sister demanded that she could only marry a Baptist preacher, like she had. She passed in 2000 at 48. :(

I have a 14 year old Australian Shepherd that I named Max. And up until March of this year 2021, his soulmate a beautiful female husky we had named 99. So we had our own little Max and 99 episodes. My 99 passed away when she was 13 years years old. We all, including Max, love her and miss her dearly. I would always do the Barbara filled in ‘oh Max…’ voice to my beautiful pups. Loved your documentary, so much cool information. This was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid in the 60s. Keep up the great work!

Funny,. I had friends back in the late '90's who had a Shepherd called Max. When they also got a Kelpie X Shepherd, I suggested they call her 99, which they did. Eventually, when 3 puppies arrived, they were named Chief, Larrabee and my favourite - KAOS.

Meaning that he focuses on the positive and does not resort to hatemongering. Bravo sir. BTW one of my favorite roles for Miss Feldon was in a movie called 'Smile', I believe with Bruce Dern.
