Gon Freecss is a Rookie Hunter and the son of Ging Freecss. Finding his father is Gon's motivation in becoming a Hunter. He has been the main protagonist for most of the series, having said role in the Hunter Exam, Zoldyck Family, Heavens Arena, Greed Island, and Chimera Ant arcs.

I love how gon was genuinely punished for his reckless actions and can't use nen, and possibly lost his natural talent for it, instead of "shonen mc uses technique that should permanently cripple them but recovers in 3 months without issue"

I agree. I also think it’s a very smart way to shift the title of protagonist from Gon to Kurapika (imo Kurapika becomes the protagonist after the 13th Chairman Election arc) because it’s really telling you straight up “Gon is not capable of fighting anymore. There’s no way he will continue to do so.” We know Gon would not want to anyway, now that he’s found and talked to his dad, but he also is physically incapable of continuing on with fighting and being a hunter. It’s a good way to put his character to rest.

What a bad Nen-User. Same for Meruem. Theyre all on Cheetuhs Level. But Meruem has an Excuse: His Power was beyond and outside of the Nen-System. Nothing ever activated his Survival-Instinct, duh. But even then; even with Meruem; its sad.

Enhancement-Pills/Tablets are so simple and good (also proving what NWR said about Enhancement being BEST used in combi with other Types) that i really hope someone gives them out and distributes them in low-key masses when they reach the DK. NWR said it well, but is still under-stating it and i also still wait for Nen-Encyclopedia to have a Part 2 to each of the basic Nen-Types. I mean, alone the question: IS THERE 'NEGATIVE ENHANCING'? Is that a Thing? What about Weight? Or even Irrationality? Can i enhance this on an opponent?!

"Enhancers need no Hatsu" is so stupid it's legit my Headcanon that Wing is lying here to have a Monopoly on the more complex Side of Enhancement. I mean, the Type that needs less Commitment should ALL THE MORE not ever waste an Ability-Slot. A Person that ONLY wants to fight with simple Punches should be THE FIRST to make a HealingABility oer whatever. Let the Ability stay inactive and charge or whatever. However you slice it: not making ANY Nen-Ability makes no sense, no matter your Type. And i havent even mentioned Utility-Abilities or simple Food-Provides during my Rant.

Tbh imagine if gon got a power up or something or a aura not the nen 1 but like a strength n speed aura n the angerer he gets the stronger n the range of the aura increases n when he gets so anger he is able to control the range n strength of the aura but hes energy drains slowly the more stronger bigger n faster he gets makes it so the aura drains way slower n takes way less energy to the point where it doesn't drain energy at all then when he is a adult bro he will be stronger then anyone by x1000 n more like bro adult gon n u its your own body so its not like taking your nen away so adult gon with a strength n speed n endurance aura bro that would be so overpowered
