Roy Mustang, also known as the Flame Alchemist, is the tritagonist of the Fullmetal Alchemist series. He is a State Alchemist and officer in the Amestrian State Military. A hero of the Ishval Civil War and Edward Elric’s superior officer, Colonel Mustang is a remarkably capable commander who plans to become the next Führer of Amestris.

there's nobody even close to as dope as colonel mustang... my boy legit goes ham on lust I wish I could snap my fingers and generate fire... I miss this series what an amazing anime forreal I love this shit right here the despair meter is off the charts in this one... I hope they give it a sequel of some sorts or give us a new take on the story in the years to come... bring this shit back!

Roy Mustang is honestly my personal favourite character that Travis Willingham has voiced. No disrespect to the original Dub actor, but Travis voiced Roy so freaking well! His voice acting as Roy Mustang was incredible!

His acting during Envy’s incineration is peak VA. You can feel his anger, sadness and regret during that engagement. Dub dont normally work but with FMA: B, most of the actors were on point.

@@Saicofake so very true the voice actors for this series were amazing like you said the depth they were able to reach inside themselves and bring those characters to life, that's why we as fans got so invested on who we loved and was are favorite, it was hard not to feel the love, sadness and pain. I cried my eyes out at the funeral scene, and when Roy was flaming Envy I was cheering him on, and then felt omg Hawkeye. We could go on and on I just hope everyone has a chance to watch both of these amazing shows.

He's a cool character, but most badass has to go to Bradley. No crazy alchemy, no healing, and barely uses his power because he doesn't really need it. His Dub voice was also amazing. His screams while fighting Scar are probably my favorite English voice acting moments.

6:32 Between his right arm and left leg, One was lost for the failed human transmutation. And the other was lost for binding his brother's (Alphonse's) soul to the armor. Though I don't remember which was for which.

Both are symbolic as well. Ed lost his leg when he tried to bring back his mother...the person that propped him up, and showed him the basics of life (like walking). Ed lost his Right arm to bring back his brother...symbolic of Al being his righthand man, in so many ways.

Imagine how proud Riza's father would be of both Roy and Riza. He definitely doesn't regret leaving his alchemy in Riza's hands, since she made the righr choice to show Roy her back

Can you do a cover of the ishval war. Like a full one. Because the anime cut alot. Anime made seem like a one sided war. It lasted for 7 whole years and ishvalans were kicking ass before the state alchemists came. It was crazy in manga chapter 58-61.

Roy Mustang is one of my most (if not the most) favorite characters in anime history. He is the nicest guys you'll ever meet, (even after following King Bradley's orders to massacre innocent people) but when you mess with his friends and subordinates; well you've signed your death warrant, both Envy and Lust learned that the hardway.

in the manga, shou tucker goes even further into the grotesque and horrifying; he ended up fusing himself with a gorilla in an attempt to grant himself superhuman strength, but ended up fused back to back, with a grotesque reversing physique and the gorilla fighting for control and gnashing its teeth out the back of his head; some crazy eldritch horror stuff. Anime is for kids!

I could be wrong but I think youre remembering something incorrectly, in the manga Tucker gets killed by Scar right after Ed confronts him for transmuting Nina, in the 03 anime he fuses himself with something after he was supposed to be executed by the government but is sent to laboratory 5.

Wrong! That only happens in the 2003 Anime which had a different story. In the Manga and Brotherhood Anime, he is killed by Scar soon after being exposed by Ed. Only some Anime are for kids.

I gave him my own title. I also like "The Brazen Blaze Alchemist. The Raging Sun Alchemist, Sewing Flame, The Absolute Sunburst.) Dude(and dudettes, I hate having to put an asterisks on these types of things, it's fucking stupid. Obviously, I'm not denouncing the presence of women in ANY conversation. Clearly, I'm not using it in such a way that I am assuming/presuming, anyone's gender. Finally, I am not trying to shroud my sexism, my belief that only 'dudes are capable of understanding or appealing to men, amidst a fog of vagueness.). . . as I was saying, before I rambled on with my Rainman-like preamble, Dude, it is amazing, the artwork and emotion, in each stroke of the pen. These few seconds deserve to be applauded, celebrated with genuine appreciation of its artistic integrity. He didn't. He saved Mustang from himself. Mustang was consumed by bloodlust and vengeance. He was stopping Mustang from going down that path. It was Ed who killed Envy by showing him pity and compassion when he was in his most pathetic state. Ed revealed Envy for the self-loathing being he was.
