In this video, we are going to take a look at the Life of Alys Rivers. Alys was a mysterious woman at Harrenhal who formed a relationship with Prince Aemond Targaryen during the Dance of the Dragons.
This video is primarily a compilation of selected passages from George R.R. Martin's "Fire and Blood," which is a companion book to his epic, high-fantasy series, "A Song of Ice and Fire"

it makes the asoiaf series all the more realistic. it's history so nothing is as accurate as what really happened and stories are left out because they aren't recorded.

I head canon that Aly Rivers’s descendants either marrying into House Lothston (who held Harrenhal after the Strongs) leading to Mad Daniella or the Blackwoods leading to Brynden Rivers

It'll be interesting to see what kind of magic she wields. If she's Melissandre then it makes sense why she'd lay with a Dragon such as Aemond, as the Blood of Valyria/the Dragon would increase fire magic abilities. Or, if she's a witch of other powers, like some of the magical abilities of the First Men or the Children, well... who knows what would come of a kid with such a mix of potent, magical blood. Valyrian blood and fire magics, combined with whatever Alys has, I can only imagine. Who knows what happend to their kid. Perhaps they lived, and hid in Essos, Aemond's line continuing elsewhere, or did they meet an unfortunate end? (Also, interesting how his kid was denounced on part of how his father Aemond was a kinslayer... even though he certainly wasn't the only Targaryen kinslayer by this time after the war)

Since Daemon was at Harrenhal first, could Alys be an agent of his? She lead Aemond right through him. She could also just as well be carrying Daemon's child. Daemon has a thing for the mysterious women after all

No, I doubt it. Considering how long the War was going on for, Aemond had been around more than once, so the idea that she had a fling with Daemon and not Aemond seems unlikely.

There's a possibility. I wouldn't put it past GRRM to put in a few twists. Heck, I'm one of the few that believe she intentionally leads Aemond to his death, that kiss wasn't romantic as everyone believes that was a Judas kiss. LOL

She's probably gonna be my favorite character. i love supernatural things and other magical stuff, and i think maybe she possibly used magic of some sort to draw Aemond closer to her to me it makes since and she didn't hesitate to kill or torture people with magic from how she is in the video she seems awesome

GRRM has said, first he has to name a character to know who they are...Alys= (A-lia-s) alias, but I have no idea who she could be! Great video! Another name that really puzzles me is Jeyne Poole, ie....Gene Pool? Have a great weekend, Kev!
