There is a difference in tone between a song of ice and fire and the game of thrones show. The books make the gratuitous violence something that is awful and met with disgust. The show wants you to say “fuck ya this little girl feed this guy his kids” rather than the same scene played out in the books that send a chill down your spine cause wyman manderly is willing to eat his foes just to convince their kin to eat it too

Lol sansa "visited Bran off screen". Exactly. If they'd shown it on screen there would have been no surprise when the time came. It was an entire season of arya, littlefinger and sansa acting moronic so that we could be surprised. Thats all this show had turned into at this point: cool scenes.

I don't think Jaime was referring to both the Hound and the Mountain. He a said "3 fighters in the kingdoms who might have a chance"-- he's musing. He would not have said Kingdoms if he was just going to pick two more Westerlanders (Cleganes being vassals of the Lannisters). I do believe he is referring to: Ser Barristan Selmy (even though he is in exile); Ser Gregor Clegane; and Prince Oberyn Nymeros Martell. I think he feels Loras' win in the tilts was not indicative of combative skill. I would put Thoros of Myr as a possible candidate.

The show makes everything more confusing than it needs to be. The white walkers arent the boogeyman D&D want you to think they are. Its really simple, Mance Raydar is the one controlling the undead. Just look at his name, it is literally a combination of Mance(Mansion), Mancer(Necromancer), Ryder(knight), Raider(plunderer), and Radar(Transmitter). The Others are part of water magic and go way back in the stories lore. On the flag of the septs warriors is the crystal sword of the others. In the tale of nissa nissa, when the sword was forged in water, thats the Others being made (it didn't work to stop the stone men). And when Rhoyne went to War with Valyria, the cities were flooded (with Others and Whites)

I agree except that Boromir seemed like a slightly better fighter than Aragorn, and probably to many other D and D fans like G.R.R Martin himself. Rangers cannot melee a barbarian class. Aragorn was a stealther with leather armor. Even with Anduril it would be iffy for Aragorn against a tank who slays entire orc battalions. And Martin said "probably" Boromir, so it's still a close match against Ned. So yeah, Jaimie is better than Aragorn, Boromir, and Ned...but Jaimie's better than every Westerosi alive but Selmy. The other two he was referring to are the Mountain (not as skilled but far superior reach and strength) and Loras (show hyped Loras vs. Jaimie as legit).

Jaime will probably be killed by Stoneheart but resurrected by Thoros because he sees him in his flames, fighting the Others, or Euron, or Cersei. As a fire wight (he'll be hotter xd), he will have his golden hand liquid and fused in living red white (like Victarion's hand being burned and hot because of his infected wounds) recovering his old fighting skills and increased in speed like Beric's or in strength like Vic's. He will fight injustices in the River and Western Lands and probably even the Reach, and then even joining Sansa as queen in her quest to Kingslanding to reclaim justice for his father and his servents (she is the one that has a direct rivalry with her and the most motives to kill her, considering how she was manipulated and held hostage by Cersei and her son tortured her for an entire year, even menacing Sansa to r*pe her), falling both in love (she is younger and more beautiful than Cersei, so this new queen will take everything that the old one holds precious, wich means, she will take not only her power, her family's castle (yeah she probably will take Casterly Rock in vengeance), her 'most beautiful woman in the realm' status and of course, Jaime's love, (being the ultimate steep in his redemption arc, and considering how strong, powerful and smart Sansa will end up becoming thanks to her training with Littlefinger, she is very likely to be his last love interest before he dies (it would even match the song that we all have related to Jon (i loved a woman with red hair (Ygritte/Sansa, with silver hair (Dany/Brienne) and golden hair (Val/Cersei)). With all of this, and probably after she burns Kingslanding, marry Euron, i don't know, he will realize that his sister has to be stopped, and strangles her, with his flesh hand, and with his gold hand, indirectly and unwillingly acomplishing Tyrion's menace: 'one day your happiness will become ashes in your mouth.'

In text, she is what? 15ish? 16? 13? There is a LOT of shite behind Jorah and Lynesse in general, but in text something that stands out is the 'fortnight' HE is happy. The first two weeks together were bliss. For HIM...and then real life. Jorah blames his wife for not understanding what she was getting into...and he KNEW. This isn't even the only 'fortnight' timing in text. Penrose gets a fortnight to give Edric/Storm's End to Stannis, and more fortnights. Including the clever name of Night Fort. People lose their taste for food when they are DEEP unhappy in life. Lyn was DYING and Jorak STILL blames HER.
