The Little Mermaid 2023 Behind The Scenes. The Little Mermaid is a live action movie of the Disney Princess Ariel. The Little Mermaid Behind the scenes shows how they made the film using vfx. The Little Mermaid cast includes Melissa McCarthy, Halle Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, Simone Ashley, Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs, Jessica Alexander, Javier Bardem, Awkwafina, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Emily Coates. Making of The Little Mermaid gives us a glimpse of how they shot the under the water scenes. In The Little Mermaid interview, Halle Bailey mentions that she took 20 takes to do the hair flip scene. Behind the scenes of The Little Mermaid gives us an idea of the number of people required to make a song. The Little Mermaid on set behavior of Melissa McCarthy is really funny. I just saw the movie today….. and when I say it was amazing! I was excited but it blew far past my expectations and Halles voice is soooo amazing! She will def be an icon after this. The whole team and everyone who worked on this deserve nothing but praise. This was amazing. I randomly saw this pop up and seeing behind the scenes give me even more respect for the hard work that went into this.

Just saw this movie yesterday and I smiled the whole time. I cried when she started singing, because of who she is as an individual but also because of her beautiful voice. Disney, you did a good job with this movie! Loved it from beginning to end.

Melissa truly truly did Ursula Justice !!!!! My only critique is that the underwater and also when Ursula went out like a giant and Triton destroys Ariel’s collection those visuals effects could have been better and clearer . Solid 9.3 out of 10. Will see again and again ❤

So most of the creators were afraid of creating African-American heroes. But now, there is equality for everyone. Soon enough you will see heroes from all races.

Her voice is absolutely amazing. Being born in the 80s, I loved this movie, and somehow they got it right. The spirit of the movie was unchanged. And I can’t say enough about Halle. She’s an absolute gem with a gorgeous voice and gave a nuanced take with the silent acting too. Just lovely!

I watched this movie today May 25th at 5:30pm and Halle and all the characters touched my heart and not Ursula.I was so touched and cried so hard at the end.Everyone see this movie and feel with your whole heart. Only thing I want to say is I wish the seen where Sebastian was being chased by the chef was included bc it was such a fun scene but nevertheless it was an amazing experience goosebumps all over with Halle as Ariel and all the characters, BRAVO ❤

I saw it yesterday, with a bunch of my friends, we loved it from start to finish. I am shocked we didn't get kicked out of the theatre for singing, laughing and just getting lost in the film. If anyone has not seen it, you will not be disappointed.

I can say that, although it wasn’t perfect for me, in that I really didn’t think Ursula was wicked enough, that it was good and it is a hard movie to live action. Halle KILLED IT when she was on the rock scene, and says “one day you’ll see” as she watches Eric and her passion right there, that was everything you wait for in this movie!

Took my granddaughter to see this and it was amazing! Melissa McCarthy was perfect as Ursula, loved Halle as Ariel, everyone was very well casted! Will definitely own this as soon as this comes out to buy!

The true box office value of a movie isn't tested by how many folks see it opening weekend, but whether the initial reviews don't keep people away in subsequent viewings and/or the number of people who see it more than once. Halle is a stunning gal who deserves her time in the spotlight, and I'm sure she'll get more movies in the future.

Saw it Friday, All the characters did a fantastic job. I want to own it. Ursula was great. The voice, the singing. The music, loved it. I cried at the end. Great movie experience.

Such a magical movie. I’m blow away by the casting. Shew… I knew Halle wouldn’t disappoint. Who knew how phenomenal of a job Melissa as Ursula and Javier Bardem as King Triton and the rest of the cast members… shew😍😍😍 AMAZING. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Haven’t see the movie yet, but definitely will. Im a little worried about the animal sidekicks. Aquafina’s voice usually annoys me, but maybe it’ll work. And Flounder looks like he’s dying. Also is it just me or could they have put a prettier outfit on Hailey for when she tours around the kingdom for the first time with Eric. She’s pretty, and I miss that very Ariel bow like in the cartoon.

Was amazing..... Melissa is great! The new songs are awesome! And you have them written By a man (Lin Manual Miranda) who named his 1st born Sébastien! With Buddy Hackett gone 😢. I feel that Akuwafina did a wonderful job. Keeping up with Hamilton alumni too!!!!!

This movie absolutely amazing. It exceeded my expectations and they added a few minor things to flesh out the story more. The casting was perfect. Halle did amazing as Ariel and Melissa performance as Ursula blew my mind. Absolutely amazing.

This is the first movie my then little girl saw in the movie theater. She was hooked on Disney and had the magical childhood of all those 90’s movies (VHS). Even her dance recital dances frequently were set to Disney songs. And of course we signed up for Disney World vacations (her first ride there was Imagination with Figment). I wish I could have seen this live action with her, but she died in 2019.
