Warren is missing in India. He ditched set his phone navigation app to give instructions to the creature in the coffin. Then slipped off on to a bus moving in the opposite direction. The bus was last seen heading north.

"You'll get used to her. She won't live forever." Not exactly a ringing endorsement. This was a great selection and well done as usual. Thank you!

piss poor writing skills. The narrator didn't even drop a single hint that he was in on the murder, much less that he carried it out directly. The author had the makings of a good story here, but failed to explains the origin of the eyes or how the son and father colluded. Just laziness, and I recommend noting the author's name to avoid him or her in the future.

EYEBALLS! I’ve got one of those on my forearm… I think of it as my dead fiancés eyeball watching after me- though, by the grace of god I wasn’t the one that poisoned him, but it did come from my bag…😢 however, he’d never come back & strangle me, only laugh because he was always a good tiMe & we loved each other; so a bit different, I’d say. LOTs of great reading, par EXCELLENCE! Thank you Ian & family at HORROR BABBLE! You’re still my FAVorite XXXLSwearshirt-Dress!

The set up is unrealistic and strange, but that only adds to the horror of this one. I really enjoyed this story, the body horror descriptions were particularly graphic- soo good!

The green glowing eyes in the thumbnail reminded me of the entity that myself & brother-in-law saw when a ghastly apparition formed then 'glided' into the road down a country lane many years ago. Nice reading by the way, Ian!

@@HorrorBabble There was a lurid green, but flickering, flash of light by the side of the road - which obviously attracted both our attention - then the ‘thing’ formed about 3 metres from us. It quickly ‘developed’ in the exact same way as a photograph image placed in developer emerges. As I say, it glided across the road and there were definite textures of clothes and features even though the ‘image’ was monochromatic. It was an old woman, complete with walking stick and shawl. As we were in a car travelling in the dark down a country lane almost in the middle of nowhere we were necessarily moving slowly, yet we still ran over it, but there was no ‘bump’ and as I was sat in the passenger side the thing must have gone through me, but I felt nothing. The most spooky thing was the green glowing hovering eye/orb which seemed to be surrounded by an ancient looking gray wizened leering face. Nether of us felt fear or horror, just disbelief and astonishment - followed by a brief silence the exclamation of ‘did you see what I saw’. Two people seeing the same thing at the same time! And yes, the apparition materialised near a crossroads where also other things through the years have been reported too.

Great reading, as always, but whenever the descriptions of the eyes came up all I could think of was Marty Feldman in Yound Frankenstein... Also, Mrs. Weir... Dr. Weir in Event Horizon... gauging out his own eyes... coincidence? I THINK NOT!
