I like everything about this: the song, the singing, the fingerstyle guitar, and the Loar archtop! Wow, I just keep listening over and over! What a great son!

I'm not a huge fan of music but this is their hands down greatest song ever written this is so beautiful you deserve 800,000,000 not just 8,000 I swear that if I ever become famous enough you are going to be the first person I give a shout out to keep up the good work your music is so beautiful man man you deserve to be famous man keep up the good work if I could I would give 1000000000000000000000000 like man!!!!!!!

I'm playing this song in open G tuning using a capo on the 2nd fret just like Ellis. I think that's the way he does it too.

+Andres Forero Pretty sure it's a modified LH 300 or 600, his artist page on the Loar website says he plays both.
