I’m looking at buying one instead of a traditional acoustic. Can it get the acoustic sound when plugged in or is it only the jazz tone?

@@UndecidedCinema705 I love to play it unplugged but you are right, it's a jazz box at heart. No acoustic sounds plugged in, only a hot P90.

Yes, the guitars are now again available, looks like. I finally got mine a month ago after putting my order in 9 months earlier. Covid caused a lot of disruption but the factory is producing impeccable work. That guitar is in my livingroom and in my hands. I couldn't be happier.

I love my Loar LO-215. Sounds much better than the two far more expensive Waterloo guitars I purchased, which were disappointing.

I really like this mandolin, one thing if I may say: the edge of the "bridge" is pretty blunt when playing, may I recommend a rounded edge around the screw? Thanks

Weird, I did a Realty roof inspection several years ago, noticed the owner had the F-hole tattoos, and mentioned this demo which led me to buy "The Loar" LH-280. Turned out it was the gentleman who is playing in this video. Excellent work!
