The 2020 London Classic car Show was held at the Olympia London in Kensington between the 20th and the 23rd of February.
Though we did not have a parade this year, Max Girardo made up for it with his Car Stories.

Quite a show! I remember seeing Max Girardo in Chasing Classic Cars when he was an Auctioneer. Love seeing the Ferraris!

The space was a lot different, but yes, I would say it was slightly smaller. I really missed the parade we saw in the previous two years.

Hi. It is indeed a 330 GTC . John Lennon of the Beatles had one in Blue , think it sold at auction a few years back. I have no idea if this is it. Google Ferrari 330 and this car comes straight up .

@@JohnSmith-jf3us Ian is right. It is a Facel Vega, The Lagonda had a smaller grill. Another brilliant grand tourer.

@@henryhol8538 Thank you, the grill is why I was doubtful, I enjoyed the Lagonda, but sold it because of continuous gear box problems, this may be the reason we see so few at the Classic car shows?

Most of those on aren’t classic cars. Classic cars are generally cars at least 40 years old.

Classic cars tend to be at least 20 years old. I'm sure there are some cars here that are not even that old. Veteran and vintage cars are of course much older

@Michael Paulussem, not all classic cars are owned by the rich, I have a 1979 Mercedes 350 SL and a 1974 Datsun 260Z and I am certainly not rich but you are right in saying that these cars are toys.

The show looks nowhere near as good as the Excel events. Why did it move?

I'm not quite sure. I did quite like the Excel events, more space, more exhibits, and a wonderful parade showing the cars on the move.

Typical Classic Car Show. Lots of old cars and very few classics.

I wonder what defines classic? Pre around 1972? Cars after that started to gain a distinctly non classic attribute, reliability. Just enough truth in this to perhaps be valid? Are family cars acceptable? I don't know. Stylistically, I have a hard time regarding Cortinas and Victors as classics but the 1960s Triumphs and Rovers, definitely.

So the rep' at Bishops Heritage has that resigned look of it's going to be a very long day. Is it a LS7 or Hellcat ? Well there's 3 cars you wouldn't expect to see at this show , Clubman estate, 1500 Midget and 2litre mk1 Vitesse !? If l'd seen a battery in that Dino l'd have stopped watching ! At last ! a real car ,a 250F . I think the DB5 is the first of 25 continuations at £ 3.25 million or was it £2. 3 million? 😨😨 l never have understood why the Bristol was so sought after, it was the late L.J.K. Setright's favourite. Marmite car! No point in just titling the cars you like ! That Interceptor is an FF ,very rare. Well that was a real mish mash of everything . Think it should have been called the London Confused Car Show ! Thanks for showing us.

Though we did get some of the usual suspects, there were some new special cars. The Lancia Aurelia B20GT, the AC Barchetta and the McLaren F1 were my favorate of the cars not seen previously.
