Immediately after the Pre-Game Ceremony at Heardmont Park the OMHS Band Drum Line stays on the track and performs the "Drum Yell" during the opening kickoff of the football game. Typically this lasts only less than 15-20 seconds but on 9-30-2022 there was an issue with the play clock and once they had been given the signal to start the Drum Yell by the Director they had to continue until the ball was actually put into play. The clock issue made a delay resulting in the longest Drum Yell in OMHS History!
