Plan before buying any machinery or vehicles. If new purchases need to be done to replace current machinery then an auction should be held when the machines or vehicles are still in running condition so as to sell at a higher price and also benefit those making the purchases.

Those DAF trucks and bus are a no go zone. DAF no longer produces vehicles. Getting spare parts for a make over will be a night mare.

@@pamurickshow Itakua ngori sana. The company was doing very well before the 2000s.They used to provide Kenya Bus with coaches back in the day especially the automatic transmission buses. Putting those on auction back on the road will be very costly as spare parts of such old buses and trucks will have to be imported or custom manufactured for you. Buying them for spare parts is not an option too since there are no DAF trucks and buses of those types any longer on the road. Its not worth a coin but a money pit that is why they have sat there since the early 2000s through several auctions.

Guys the best deas are the Nissan Diesel truck, Mercedes truck, the graders, the asphalt pavers and the DAF prime mover for those whom will be able to swap the engine with an IVECO, Renault or Volvo variants. The DAF bus maybe for the coach body. The ugly Steyr trucks ukae mbali kabisa.

The most heartbreaking part is that anybody willing to buy those scraps should be ready to engine, gearbox, cabin fully dressed, full body, wiring harness meaning you are buying a rotten chassis and new number plate for 200k 🤣🤣🤣🤣
