Did you know Nalanda University predated Oxford University by at least 500 years? It was home to a library with 9 million handwritten books and a nine-storey astronomical observatory.
But then, one day, it was all destroyed. Here's the story of this ancient wonder.

Nalanda was a Buddhist university, the revival of the the university can only be honoured by reviving Buddhism in India.

Go and educate yourself it was not a buddhist university only vedic education was also there and majority text were in sanskrit in nalanda . Many brahmans used to teach concepts of vedic dharama . It was built by a hindu king. And most important when it was burned down around 50k brahmans were killed not buddhist where were buddhist at that time?

Not just Nalanda, almost all universities in India were Buddhist, only a few were Jain. No history of Brahmin schools.

@@abc_cbaso let us see who is joker 😂😂 . Who built nalanda university?? A hindu king. The majority text in nalanda was sanskrit why?? Where was your pali language?? The buddhist travels learnt sanskrit after coming to nalanda not pali why?? And why 50k brahmans were killed when nalanda was burned down Why were they even there if it was a buddhist university??
