How did you get that job? I've always wanted to work in an archives position. I got my undergrad in American Studies a few years ago. What steps are necessary to work in film archiving?

It's a tightknit group of people, I would start by trying to get involved in AMIA or some other film preservation agency that may be closer to where you live. I got the job by knowing someone that worked there so I would try to make connections with people that are passionate about the industry.
