its pretty easy to explain why astrology works in scientific terms, you just have to compare our brain to a radio. The pineal gland in conjunction with pituitary and the spinal fluid, although others might be important as well, works just like a radio that picks up frequencies. When you try to pick up a frequency on the radio, and you change or press some buttons, our brain works in the exact same way when it picks up frequencies from everywhere. Every planet that has an electromagnetic field (basically all of them), emits a certain frequency, some even transposed those frequencies into sounds, creating the song of the solar system. Whereas in our case we are picking up frequencies in the MegaHertz range on our radio, our brain picks up and also emits frequencies that are a whole level lower, less that 40 Hertz in most cases. Whereas we have buttons on the radio to adjust to a frequency that has data on it, the planets (and actually every body in the solar system) act as buttons for you brain radio. The bigger the button, the higher its magnetic field, the more data there is on that frequency. When certain alignments reoccur, people are picking up those same frequencies, therefore history repeats in trend, however adapted to the current technology and culture. There are so many other things that can explained by this, even referencing to the Bible or other religious text, and this the why the ancient personified each planet, each constellation, etc. This is not science fiction, its science, and our solar system is a giant brain. Anyone can look up everything said in this statement, and I actually have a hard time understanding why modern astrologers don't present astrology in this context. Astrology is for astronomy, the same as psychology for physiology.

Here’s an interesting discovery. When you were speaking about day charts versus night charts, moving from lightness to darkness and vice versa I remembered that my daughter and I share the same exact Lot of Spirit at 24° of Aquarius in the fifth house. I have a night chart while she has a day chart. I went to AstroSeek Lots calculator, using #houses and I found this out. We both have the same ascendant yet at different degrees. that is all. I just find it interesting that I gave birth to her while my lot of spirit was active in the house of children. She’s my one and only.

My best personal lot story: in 2022, I had been watching Mars sneak up on my Lot of Fortune. It was verrrry slow this time; also square my natal Mars (although this happens every Mars orbit). The day the Mars--Fortune conjunction perfected, I found out I was being laid off my from my day job (you wanted to be a full-time astrologer? HERE YA GO!)

Chris, I’m so glad to hear you bring up The Secret, etc., I’ve been so annoyed with this manifesting thing as it seems the person (like you said) is always blamed when it doesn’t happen when you know damn well you’ve done it exactly as it was told and yet it didn’t happen so it must be our fault. When stuff doesn’t happen I’m like did I not blink three times, turn my head left 20°, stand on my left foot, chant to the gods, do it on a new moon, and on and on. 😅

There is so much tragedy and inequality out there (that I am experiencing daily as I don't live in 1st world country) and I'm just disgusted by the whole manifestation brainwashing cause the only people that it will ever work for are the ones that are already privileged. Here's something that may be missed if you never look at charts with the Asc/Dsc line displayed exactly horizontally, that is a direct result of the calculations for each lot being a reverse of the other: When you rotate a WSH chart so that the ASC/DSC is horizontal, the Lots of Fortune and Spirit will always appear to be above/below each other and perpendicular to the horizon, i.e. if you drew a straight line from Spirit to Fortune or vice versa, the line would be vertical and at 90° to the Asc/Dsc line. This can give a kind of "as above, so below" impression of the symbolic relationship between these two lots. It reminds me of the relationship between a light source and its image on a reflective surface: the reflection is an imperfect version of the real thing, which can be taken as a metaphor for how the mortal life is an imperfect reflection of source/spirit.

1:39:11 I have not read anything about the lots of Eros and Necessity yet, but the method of calculating them using Fortune to Spirit and vice versa implies the Lots of Eros and Necessity have a similar "as above, so below" relationship to each other, and it would be interesting to see whether this connection is reflected in what we get when using the Eros and Necessity calculations based on Venus and Mercury.

Back to the Lots of Spirit and Fortune: because of how they are calculated, the position of the Lots of Spirit and Fortune by house is correlated to the Sun/Moon cycle / Moon phase under which you were born, which may be a handy shortcut if the Lots are not displayed on a chart. Those born under or near to New Moons will have their Spirit&Fortune on the Eastern ("self") side of the chart, near to or conjunct each other and the Asc. Those born under or near to Full Moons will have their Spirit&Fortune on the Western ("other") side of the chart, near to or conjunct each other and the Dsc. Those born under or near to a half moon will have their Lots of Spirit and Fortune appear in or near to an opposition to each other, at the top ("public") and bottom ("private") of the chart (but not necessarily in the 4th and 10th whole sign houses, they could land in 3rd/5th and 9th/11th, depending on the Asc). I have not yet delved into the possibilities with the Half Moons and the differences between Waning and Gibbous moons, and Day and Night charts, but I'm sure there is plenty to find.

This is a really good episode, but the history fan in me is like WAIT. Queen Elizabeth did NOT become heir because her uncle, King Edward, wanted to marry a commoner. He wanted to marry a twice-divorced commoner (divorce at that time being forbidden for remarriage in the Church of England, of which the monarch is head), who was also having affairs with MULTIPLE NOT-SEE OFFICIALS, and passing them state secrets, to the point that Edward wasn’t allowed to receive sensitive information. Saying it was “because she was a commoner” is completely missing the point! 😂 Other than that, excellent show. Thank you for your work!

I’ve been waiting for this episode. ☺️ I’ll have to check it out more thoroughly later as I’m really heavy into Rosicrucian astrology right now and I’ll be more into these more specifically after. Kinda skimmed. It also reminded me, an unusual pattern I found with lots that may be useful to an astrologer (Randon) who posted about a sort of (I’d expect big) “black swan” event with transits, she missed the transiting lot of spirit. I couldn’t gather enough data to have full theory but when people or groups state a similar meaningful experience the transiting MC is often in the 11th with an angular fortune and/or spirit. Sometimes the rulers. Just because I’m here, the rosi’s seem to equate antiscia to past lives and even karma, I noticed I didn’t find an episode on that. I was impressed they view the natal as purely a physical chart, but other charts like antiscia being related to spirit. Nietzsche was used as carrying over the spirit of Venus in aries (mystical idealism) as a talent that quickly advanced his career early on, then shifted to Venus in scorpio (mystical dynamism; his will to power Superman phase) as his later. This was prior to saying sextiles spiritually are the worst possible aspect even though it’s favorable in the physical chart. Putting the native (spiritually) into a world view that they have no prior preparation for which they state lead to his physical and mental health issues. I found it fascinating in contrast to how antiscia and Dodecatemoria are used. There was so much I wanted to study more with lots, but those are topics people don’t openly talk about. I appreciate the episode, kinda surprised since they were discussed really well in the zodiacal releasing.

The chart of Marie-Antoinette is so vivid. That Lot of Spirit in the 12th house in the decan of Cruelty - 9 of Swords. I am fascinated with placements in this decan as I have my Sun/South Node conjunction in this decan. Oh, wow...then Rubin "Hurricane" Carter...The Lot of Fortune conjunct the South Node in that same decan of Gemini - Cruely - 9 of Swords. Fascinating!

Wonderful talk. I’m fan of midpoints and the Arabic parts are also points in a char bringing additional information. I see Arabic parts bringing more information of the j fluente of some planets as they include the ASC, while midpoints are for me more about creative points bringing information about skills and talents.

OMG I’ve been digging into LOF lately! I’ve looked at mine and a few friends. Pre biased impression before watching this… I noticed it’s something that is almost like a talent. Amongst myself and friends it’s tied to what people seek you out for. I could see it bringing a lot of pride and recognition but it also feels like a burden in a sense you are always living up to it and sort of leading people to it for their own good. For example my Partners is in Libra in 11H and he has an uncanny way of solving intrapersonal issues. He wants to start a supportive shared community. I have it in Sagittarius in 1H and I have the tendency to make people feel good about themselves in a philosophical sense of how they fit in the world but it’s from encouraging self expression in art and sex ed. Ok now I’m pressing play. Let’s see 👀

I'm about 80% done with this video and I felt compelled to comment. Lot of Fortune- Cancer 9H. Lot of Spirit- Aquarius 4H. Lot of Eros- Leo 10H. I have Moon in Leo 10H and Aquarius in 4H. Hi Chris and Kira great show I have bought lottery tickets around my Fortune and find I am lucky when the transit Sun is conjunct my DAY Fortune and transit MOON is conjunct my NIGHT Fortune at same time. I have also found to buy lottery tickets when transit Jupiter is in my DAY Fortune House (13 weeks), transit Jupiter is in NIGHT Fortune House (13 weeks), transit Jupiter is in pleasure House 5 (13 weeks), transit Jupiter is in Inheritance House 8 (13 weeks). You forgot to mention Elon Musk has Jupiter in House 5!

Hi Chris, enjoying this sthanks.. So I have studied Vedic intensely, and am enjoying this, and am drawn to Hellenistic. And I really have to say the way you read a chart in Hellenstic fashion is the same way we read in Vedic. Not the same techniques, or rules, but the same essence. In Vedic sidereal BTW Musck has Ketu in the second (letting go of money) but has the second lord (aquisition) exalted in the 12th with a strong 5th and 9th lord - a powerful combination for money in the 12th house of foreign lands - and he made his fortune across the globe!

I have Lot of Fortune exact conjunct Sun at 14* Gem conj. Venus R at 23* 6th house.. with mutual reception to 22* Mercury conj. Mars 24* in Taurus TRINE- ASC Moon, Neptune all exact at 27* Cap and Jupiter R at 16* Cap… I also have Uranus R at 4* Aquarius in 2nd house trine North Node in Libra 14* and the Sun and LOF ( Grand air trine) …. So Where is Saturn the host of this party in Cap and Aqua? In a place of a aquesition at 5* Aries trine Pluto exactly conj MC at 1* Sag. I always knew my Lot of fortune is in really special position so I am so happy that you did an episode about it. I would love some insight on mine because as you see it stands out! My lot is exact conjunct my sun in Aquarius 3rd at 17degrees. Saturn in 1st,Sag along with Moon and Mars & N node. My Moon and Asc also exact. I’m a newbie but this all seems significant in either good or bad, or both as you say. I cant tell with Mars and Saturn there. Definitely makes me want to learn more and have Kira do a reading on this. I’ll be in touch. Enjoyed

Oh wow, Pluto in Leo is probably the ONLY generation in the 240 Year Pluto cycle that will experience a transiting Pluto opposite natal Pluto. I'm Pluto Libra and the Pluto square Pluto was brutal...moving into the trine now - hoping its better, but its also opposite natal Mars...my Unfortunate chart!!

I've known for a while that my Lot of Fortune is conjunct my Sun in Leo but they fall in the 11th vs 12th houses depending on Placidus vs Whole Sign (I know this podcast follows the latter) which makes it hard to interpret. I had never calculated my Lot of Eros but did today and it's also conjunct my Mars in 10th or 11th depending on P vs WS. I'm curious about the significance of these Lots being in close conjunction to these planets (within 1 degree for both)

Im still learning so much about Zodical Releasing but i've noticed I have my first Level 2 "LBs" for Eros and Spirit on the SAME DAY, 1/31/2030.. is that normal!? I have a night chart. My Lot of Fortune is in my 6th house in Libra with Saturn; Venus is in my 5th house in Virgo. My Lot of Spirit is in my 7th house, conjunct a retrograde Mercury in Scorpio; Mars is in my 9th house in Sagittarius. I'm hoping my Spirit is buoyant enough to help me get through whatever my Fortune has in store! 😂

2:05:00 Fortuna is what it's name suggests. It brings Fortune or the health of an individual. Placing it in the 6th house suggests something to do with service or medicine or even small animals etc., and not bad luck to ones fortune because it is placed in a house of misfortune which has other meanings beside that. For a malefic Part of Fortune we look to The Part of Nemesis(Saturn) calculated by asc + fortune - Saturn. Remember when using Whole sign houses the ancients used to refer to the sign only so Fortuna in Gemini was the primary focus. Sign and house are the same thing with this system. Another key point to remember is Lots are points in space, not celestial bodies they do not have dignity because of that. They do not act upon but are influenced by other bodies in conjunction or even in aspect to them to a minor degree.

Advice needed please as my lot of fortune is 1.5 degrees of aquarius and lot of spirit 26 degrees of pisces which is close to the positions of neptune sextile pluto in March. At the same time my lot of courage is 21 degrees taurus and so is my progressed sun of which uranus will be conjunct. These are in my 6th, 8th and 10th house. Should I be looking for a different career or would this be to my detriment? All advice is appreciated 😊

Question: During annual profections, do the Lots also "activate" for the year? Also, do they function with transits? I've only heard that conjunctions work with the lots yet alos heard others dispute that the lots only work with horary charts/ zodiacal releasing.

It feels like there is a missing lot for the distance between Mercury and the lot of spirit (or vis versa depending on if it's a day or night time chart). The reason it feels like this is because Mercury is part of both day and night sects and is neither malefic or benefic but can behave as both depending on what it is interacting with.

For example if your Lot of Fortune is in the 1st. The planetary ruler is however in retrograde in another house. This means that the effects of this house will be linked to the Lot of Fortune and may represent aspects to both utilize and overcome to attain fortune. Right.
